Simple valley life in Sortino, Italy

  Description

  We bought a nice little land in a small valley with drinkable stream and small waterfall with little natural pool. There are a lot of fruit trees( olive, walnut ,plumb, cherry, pear, orange, kiwi..)There's an old stone house that we're restructuring. We choose this place also because there's also other people living in the valley that have the same vision of simple life. We have two dogs and there's a lot of wild birds who sings all day long.

  Aide

  Help is needed in the garden, fruit picking, pruning, dry and pick wild plant and flower. An ancient house is in the process to become a Home... so help is really appreciated for restoration and furnishing the new living area.

  Hébergement

  There's a shed with a little caravan, an outside kitchen and a warm outside shower. There's also possibility for tent accomodation. Some parking place for camper is also available.
  There is a compost toilet in the land.

  The land is located near Sortino(5km) where you can find all facility. From Sortino there are buses to Catania (1h) and Siracusa(1 h). 45 Min by car to the beach. Close to Sortino there's this magical UNESCO place call of Necropoli of Pantalica. In the land there's a beautiful drinkable stream with small waterfall where you can bath and relax.
