  Description

  We are a multi-cultural family living in west Norway. I am Chinese and my husband is Norwegian/American, so our son is trilingual. We own a farm in Ålesund, but we don't really do farming. Therefore there's not much farm work to help with. We have a forest and a fjord, so if you love nature you will like our place. We might need some help with woodworking, grass cutting, fishing and blueberry picking in the summer.

  Travellers can have a deep experience of the life in Norway as well as the life of a multicultural family. They can learn woodworking and fishing skills as well as mushroom knowledge. And of course, if they want to learn English, Chinese or Norwegian, we are native speakers.

  Wood chopping, wood moving, grass cutting, fishing, and blueberry picking. Helping hours can be flexible such as doubling the hours one day and taking the next day off.

  Private room with comfortable bed. Free WiFi. Free parking. Seperate set of washing machine and drier.
  Can choose 2 hours of work/day without meal or 3 hours of work/day with lunch. Free access to the kitchen any time.

  Typical western Norway landscape. So it is gorgeous here. We have a forest behind the house so there's tons of wild mushrooms and blueberries. Helpers can take as many as they want when they leave. There is public transportation from here to town/airport, but waiting time might be long at the weekend.
