I had an awesome time at Ben’s place; he welcomed me during the lockdown but we kept busy building this urban garden, vegetables, flowers! We enjoyed using all the creativity to put nature back where it belongs. My accommodation was very comfortable, having all the space and privacy i needed. Besides exchanging on several topics, performing
… read more meditation and receiving yoga lessons was part of the exchange... and amongst the highlights, Ben shooting a clown video! So cool! The place holds a cultural centre, were sometimes you will enjoy some nice singing. Apart from that, Montbrun-Bocage is a lovely village with great local market, open minded people with plenty of alternative experiences; though with the lockdown it has been quiet. I definitely recommend Ben’s place if you like to have some good time whilst doing creative things. Thanks Ben for your welcoming!Vous pouvez seulement contacter les workawayers avec une adhésion active.

With Ben was super nice. We had a good and easy going time working and hanging out.
I enjoyed sleeping in the wagon and the vivit as well as calm place.

This feedback is long overdue and won’t properly do my stay justice, it truly was an incredible and wholesome experience. I stayed at Ben and Dixie Lu’s home for a bit over two weeks, I saw more in those two weeks than I have in my entire life. The tiny town of Mont-Brun Bocage is jam packed with colourful characters, Ben being one of them. One
… read more day Ben (aka Benny Fromagio) took me to his magician show, followed by a casual drive through the biggest cave in Europe. The next night consisted of Bens band, The Updrafters, putting on a gig in his at-home club (I’ve never seen so many dancing hippies, truly wonderful sight). There was an ‘eccentric’ dance, beautiful markets every Sunday morning, the group thieving of figs, a Halloween party, movie nights, and a thousand cups of tea sipped. During my stay the jobs varied from day to day, painting, building a patio, cooking, and a bit of cleaning. If it wasn’t a busy day Ben made sure to go for a walk or play a game of ping pong. I was lucky enough to stay in the green wagon which was extra comfy and quaint. I don’t know how I ended up in Mont-Brun Bocage, but meeting Ben, Dixie, and Derek was incredible. They welcomed me into their family and always put a smile on my face. Some of the realest and most down to earth people I know, I’ll definitely be back to visit. Thank you so much for everything guys xo.
Oh, and the food was insanely delicious (especially the ravioli).Vous pouvez seulement contacter les workawayers avec une adhésion active.

I stayed at Ben's house for two weeks and I had an absolutely amazing time there. Ben is a very multi-faceted, interesting and funny guy. He is very caring for his guests and very easy to talk to. In the morning we sometimes meditated together, which was really nice, before we got into the daily business of making porridge for breakfast.
Although
… read more his house is situated at the countryside, there is always something going on. Be it events at his club next to his house, the amazing and very lovely sunday markets in the village or just friends coming round . It really never gets boring. The work was always very engaging and varied. Be it building a terrace or painting walls, wood chopping or other things. The house has changed a lot in my time there and I feel proud to have been a part of it. I felt very much at home and as a part of his house during my stay and would return any time.
So thanks Ben for everything and I hope we see each other again one day.Vous pouvez seulement contacter les workawayers avec une adhésion active.

Bens place is fab especially for families. We camped in the peaceful garden and really enjoyed having the kitchen facilities to use. There are so many interesting people in the area. Ben is really relaxed and a great host.
