Description
We live in a beautiful lush area of Waikato, New Zealand, close to a quaint town of Cambridge. We live on a lifestyle block in the country and have a Maltese dog stud. We are a family of 2 my husband, myself with my disabled daughter coming over twice a week. We have 7 little Maltese dogs and they all live in the house with us!
I am currently involved in showing some of my dogs a lot with good success so am away some weekends.
Please note,a large part of the jobs you will be asked to do is grooming (brushing) the dogs every work day. I am happy to teach you what to do. Taking the dogs for a walk or playing with puppies and or course cleaning up after them, gardening and other jobs around the place will make up most of your working time. -

As we are in the country there are no bus stops nearby but we are happy to take you to a bus stop in town. We are close to the thermal area of Rotorua which is a unique cultural experience (1hr drive away) Also Hobbiton and the Waitomo glow worm caves are within easy driving distance. This area is a popular tourist destination. Most people love it.

Aide
Help with the dogs, especially brushing them and cleaning their eyes. Exercising and feeding them. if we have puppies playing and handling them. Occasionally cooking a meal, and help on the farm, in the house or gardening if you want to.

You would be living in our house with us in a room of your own. We have unlimited wifi. You would basically be part of our family so meals etc will be with us unless you prefer to eat seperately.

It was wonderful having Fabia here and I really appreciated all the help she gave. She is friendly and willing to do everything asked of her. Her English is very good. Fabia was so easy to have here and I got on with her very well. She related to the dogs easily and it was great to have her around with so many puppies.

It was great having Myrium here to help with the dogs. She is mature for her age and was good at getting on with the work. I was very grateful for the 3 weeks help she gave me. it was good getting to know her and we enjoyed our evenings watching TV.

Solene was absolutely fantastic and so easy to get on with. She did everything asked of her and more. The dogs adored her especially Silk and I would highly recommend having her to stay. Lisa is a bright bubbly person once you get to know her. She did really well with the dogs and did a good job of brushing them every day. She was happy to do anything I asked of her and it was great having her around. it was a shame it was so short.

I spent two great weeks at Lyndsay and David's house.
They made me feel very quickly like part of the family. The dogs and puppies were so cute and caring for them didn't feel like work.
If you like dogs I really recommand staying with them !

We had Adele to stay for more than 2 weeks and she was a great help with the dogs. She was happy to turn her hand to anything and did everything I asked. The dogs got attached to her while she was here She was very friendly and easy to get on with and her English is excellent.
