  Description

  Be part of our family (Matías, Karen, Elizabeth and Abigail) and live the experience of learning by doing! Everything we learned after traveling and being part of different farm, construction and renewable energy projects, we are now implementing in our field. Here you will find beautiful meadows, forests, mountains, river and each space has a different environment that invites you to connect with nature. We have cows, calves, sheep, ducks, chickens, cats, dogs, a greenhouse and a garden. Our life revolves around the countryside and activities related to the garden.
  
  Like all travelers, we are respectful of all ways of living life, but you should know that our farm is self-cultivated for food, therefore some meals may include meat (Chicken, Duck, Lamb, Beef) Ideal if you are a flexitarian. If you are vegetarian, please let us know in advance. If you are vegan, we cannot accommodate you, as in practice it is difficult because the idea is to share our typical dishes and it is difficult since most of them include milk or eggs.
  
  IMPORTANT: We are looking for volunteers, ideally with construction knowledge or with motivation for a long stay, at least 1 or 2 months, in order to build the volunteer house. Those interested please send a message to coordinate.

  Se parte de nuestra familia (Matías, Karen, Elizabeth y Abigail) y vive la experiencia de aprender haciendo! Todo lo que aprendimos después de viajar y ser parte de distintos proyectos de granjas, construcción y energías renovables, ahora lo estamos implementando en nuestro campo. Acá encontraras lindas praderas, bosques, montañas, río y cada espacio tiene un ambiente distinto que te invita a conectarte con la naturaleza. Contamos con vacas, terneros, ovejas, patos, gallinas, gatos, perros, invernadero y huerto. Nuestra vida gira entorno al campo y actividades relacionadas a la huerta.
  
  Como todo viajero, somos respetuosos con todas las formas de vivir la vida, pero debes saber que nuestra granja es de autocultivo para comer, por tanto algunas comidas pueden incluir carne (Pollo, Pato, Cordero, Vacuno). Si eres vegetariano avísanos previamente, si eres vegano, no podemos recibir ya que en la practica es difícil porque la idea es compartir nuestros platos típicos y resulta difícil ya que la mayoría incluye leche o huevos.
  
  IMPORTANTE: Estamos buscando voluntarios pareja idealmente con conocimiento de construcción o con motivación para larga estadía, al menos 1 o 2 meses con el fin de construir la casa de voluntarios. Interesados enviar mensaje para coordinar.

  Aide

  We need help with everything related to the field and construction:
  - Occasionally feeding animals (AM and PM rounds) and/or cleaning water troughs, feeders.
  - Cleaning of growing beds.
  - Planting of seedbeds.
  - Various constructions, sheds, terraces, fences, etc.
  - Preparation of meals.
  - Cleaning and ordering of animal spaces.
  - Generation of chips, firewood.
  - Construction of fences.
  - Various ideas to implement.
  Previous experience is not necessary, only the willingness and desire to learn from the field. Each activity that we organize will be discussed beforehand and we are flexible in implementing your ideas, the idea is to generate the exchange of visions and for you to leave your mark.

  Necesitamos ayuda en todo lo relacionado al campo y la construcción:
  - Eventualmente alimentar animales (ronda AM y PM) y/o limpiar bebederos, comederos.
  - Limpieza de camas de cultivo.
  - Siembra de almácigos.
  - Construcciones varias, galpones, terrazas, cercos, etc.
  - Preparación de comidas.
  - Limpieza y orden de espacios de animales.
  - Generación de astillas, leña.
  - Construcción de cercos.
  - Ideas varias para implementar.
  No es necesaria la experiencia previa, solo la disposición y ganas de aprender del campo. Cada actividad que organicemos se conversará previamente y somos flexibles en implementar tus ideas, la idea es generar el intercambio de visiones y que dejes tu huella.

  Hébergement

  Private room with a double bed, which is located next to our house, separated by a garage, which provides privacy for sleeping. Bathroom with shower and hot water from a solar heater or a hot water cannon. Also, if you want, you can sleep in a tent next to the river, or wherever you like. We are flexible to the experience you want to live.

  Habitación privada con cama de 2 plazas, la cual se encuentra al costado de nuestra casa, separada por un garage lo que brinda privacidad para dormir. Baño con ducha y agua caliente mediante termo solar o termocañon. También si quieres puedes dormir en carpa a un costado del rio, o donde gustes, somos flexibles a la experiencia que quieras vivir.

  We live 15km from the city of Los Muermos towards the coast, our town is rural, a bus passes in the morning (8:30) and then in the afternoon (16:30) hrs. (Monday-Wednesday and Friday).
  The attractions of the area are:
  - Hua Huar.
  - Quenuir.
  - Estaquilla beach.
  - Maullín-La Pasada.
  
  Our town can also serve as a base to visit other points of the Los Lagos Region, such as Puerto Montt, Frutillar, Puerto Varas, Osorno Volcano among others.
  
  Depending on the activities, we sometimes organize family outings to share.
  Your days off will be Friday and Saturday (we could eventually add Sunday if you are staying longer and if you are touring the area).
  On Fridays and Saturdays we DO NOT provide food, as those days are our Rest days and will also be your days off, in which we encourage you to go out and explore the area. We have 2 bicycles that you can use if you wish to tour the area.
  On the other days, we start with breakfast (8:30), lunch (13-14 hrs), quick snack (16 hrs) and dinner (19-20 hrs).

  You can arrive by public bus to the terminal in the city of Los Muermos, where we can meet and get to the camp in our vehicle or coordinate another way.

  Vivimos a 15km de la ciudad de Los Muermos hacia la costa, nuestra localidad es rural, pasa un bus en am (8:30) y luego en la tarde (16:30) hrs. (Lunes-Miércoles y Viernes) .
  Los atractivos de la zona son:
  - Hua Huar.
  - Quenuir.
  - Estaquilla beach.
  - Maullín-La Pasada.
  
  También nuestra localidad puede servir como base para conocer otros puntos de la Región de Los Lagos, como Puerto Montt, Frutillar, Puerto Varas, Volcán Osorno entre otros.
  
  Dependiendo de las actividades, a veces organizamos salidas familiares para compartir.
  Tus días libres serán viernes y sábado (eventualmente podríamos agregar el domingo si te quedas por más tiempo y si estás recorriendo la zona).
  Viernes y Sábados NO entregamos comida, ya que esos días son nuestro Descanso y serán también tus días libres, en los que fomentamos que salgas a recorrer la zona. Tenemos 2 bicicletas que puedes utilizar si lo deseas para recorrer el área.
  El resto de días, comenzamos con el desayuno (8:30), almuerzo (13-14 hrs), colación rápida (16hrs) y cena (19-20hrs).
  
  Cómo llegar:
  Puedes llegar en bus público al terminal de la ciudad de Los Muermos, donde podemos juntarnos y llegar al campo en nuestro vehículo o coordinar de otra forma.

  Espace pour garer des vans

  Puedes instalar tu vehiculo donde gustes, pero debes considerar que al ser campo es posible que necesites el 4x4 sobre todo con lluvia.
