  Description

  We are looking for a responsible animal lover to help care for our senior dog (walks, feeding, vet visits if needed) and with some light household tasks. You will have your own private room in an apartment just 8 minutes from the beach. Accommodation only, meals not included.
  I'll be away for some weeks but my sister lives with me and she will also be home but is a lot of hours away daily, hence the need of someone who looks after Boxie and keeps her company.
  We live in Málaga in a traditional neighborhood called El Palo.

  I’m Erika and I live with my sister in a cozy apartment with sea view just 8 minutes’ walk from the beach. We are looking for someone responsible, caring, and who loves animals, to stay with my sister and mainly help with our senior dog.
  
  🐶 What we need help with
  Walking our dog 3-4 times a day.
  
  Preparing (cooking) and giving her food.
  
  Taking her to the vet if necessary.
  
  Keeping the house tidy (general cleaning once a week).
  
  Doing some grocery shopping occasionally.
  
  🏡 What we offer
  A private and comfortable bedroom in our house.
  
  Only 8 minutes walking distance from the beach.
  
  A quiet and friendly family atmosphere.
  
  Plenty of free time to enjoy the sea and explore the are or learn Spanish ? Or even work your normal hours from home or some volunteering?
  
  🕐 Schedule
  Help is needed Monday to Saturday, with Sundays free for you.
  
  ✨ Who we are looking for
  Someone reliable, respectful for our home, calm, tidy and who enjoys the company of animals, especially older dogs who need a bit more patience and love.

  Boxie

  Boxie is a mixed breed senior dog. She is 13 years old and is my baby. I found her on the streets when she was barely 1 week old in a tiny box, that's where her name comes from.
  She is very friendly with people and children ( as long as they don't approach too abruptly)
  She on the other hand does not like other dogs. She can walk past them but it's better to always keep some distance.
  Boxie loves the beach and looking at people passing by (she is always ready to go anywhere )
  Since she is a bit on the older side, it takes her a bit to get everywhere.. so patience is needed!
  Ideally, you would need to take her in your arms to go down the stairs because she has arthritis.
