  Description

  WELCOME!
  
  This is a small ecological farm on the Tropical Coast of southern Spain. More than a farm, it is a lifestyle project focused on simple living, sustainability, self-sufficiency and sharing knowledge with people from different cultures.
  
  This is a small project, so life here is relaxed and personal rather than commercial. We usually do tasks together in the mornings and share conversations during the day whenever possible.
  
  WHAT YOU WILL DO
  
  Depending on the season, tasks may include:
  
  * Accompanying me during daily routines and learning about sustainable living.
  * Cooking and helping create a pleasant home environment.
  * Cooking daily meals.
  * Keeping the kitchen clean and organised.
  * General house cleaning.
  * Grocery shopping.
  * Organising storage areas.
  * Watering ornamental plants around the house.
  * Feeding chickens and collecting eggs.
  * Keeping shared spaces tidy.
  * Basic gardening around the house (flowers, herbs, decorative plants).
  * Looking after the house when I am away.
  * Organising tools and household equipment.
  * Helping create a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the home.
  
  WHAT WE OFFER
  
  * Accommodation on the farm.
  * A peaceful natural environment only a few minutes from the beach.
  * Fresh tropical fruit and vegetables when available.
  * Bicycle to explore the area.
  * The opportunity to learn about tropical fruit growing, off-grid systems, irrigation, ecological farming, self-sufficiency and sustainable living.
  
  
  WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  
  We especially appreciate people who:
  
  * Enjoy practical outdoor tasks.
  * Are proactive and don't wait to be told every small task.
  * Like cooking and keeping shared spaces clean.
  * Respect nature and simple living.
  * Are interested in learning, not just travelling.
  
  Longer stays are preferred because they allow people to become part of the project and learn much more.
  
  ABOUT US
  
  This is not a commercial farm focused only on production. It is an evolving life project where we experiment with sustainable living, ecological agriculture and self-sufficiency while welcoming people who share similar values.

  PAID POSITION
  
  This is a paid position. Accommodation is provided free of charge, and all working hours are paid at least in accordance with the current Spanish minimum wage and applicable employment regulations. Full details are discussed before arrival.

  The main reason for hosting people is cultural exchange. I enjoy meeting people from around the world, sharing daily life, exchanging ideas, languages, traditions and different ways of seeing the world. Every person brings new experiences, recipes, stories and perspectives, and I believe we all learn from each other.
  
  During your stay we spend time together every day. I enjoy explaining how the farm works, how tropical fruit is grown in southern Spain, how our solar power and water systems work, and why I chose this lifestyle. I also love learning about your culture, your country, your experiences and your own projects and ideas for the future.
  
  
  You can learn about tropical fruits, living out grid, water systems, solar electricity, construction, ecological agriculture.

  Workawayers travelling with their own campervan are welcome. There is space on the land to park and stay in a quiet natural environment surrounded by fruit trees. You will have access to basic shared facilities such as kitchen and bathroom. This is not a campsite, but a simple off-grid space, so we expect a conscious use of water and electricity, and respect for the environment and the project.
