  Description

  Hi, we’re Greg and Amy - a British couple living in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia. As cat lovers we have rescued dozens of stray cats over the past six months. We also work with local NGOs to carry out spay/neuter and vaccinate campaigns.
  
  As a result of our cat rescue work we currently share our home with anywhere between 20-40 cats at any given time.

  When you stay with us you’ll get to learn about the unique history and culture of Kuching (aka Cat City). You can also explore the rich cultures of Sarawak - home to dozens of indigenous tribes. Your accomodation is just a ten minute Grab ride from town where you will find the cultural museum, the old Chinese town, various colonial buildings, Chinese temples, stunning mosques, and bustling market places. As well as the famous Kuching waterfront.

  Aide

  We are looking for an individual or couple who can help with cleaning and feeding our cats, as well as playing with them as and when you feel like doing so. Typically this will mean an hour or two in the morning, and then again some time in the evening. Other than that you are free to spend your time however you wish.

  You will have a double bedroom with ceiling fan and standing fan at the house where our cats live. You will be the only person or couple staying in the house so the bathroom, kitchen etc. are yours to use and will not be shared with us or anyone else. Kitchen comes with a fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, gas hob, oven, and all the cooking equipment, plates and bowls etc.
  
  We will fully stock the kitchen (which is in the house only the volunteers will be staying in), so they can cook for themselves there. it's a fully equipped kitchen.

  We will provide ingredients at the property for cooking your meals. Additionally, there are eateries within walking distance, and the town centre just a ten minute Grab ride away.

  The property has WiFi with a very good connection, suitable for all types of work as well as enjoying watching movies etc. Our workawayers have full access to the entire property so can work either indoors or outdoors.
