Description
Hi lovely people of our mother earth,
we are a Belgian and Turkish couple.we have a project of making a new kitchen with stone walls, as well as finishing the bathroom. We would also plant a garden soon. So the work would vary from bringing stones, making the mortar using lime and sand, preparing garden beds and planting, and also playing with our lovely son Kaya who has 4 years ( by the date November 2024) in our beautiful planet! So with the physical work, if you're strong you will get stronger, if you need to get in shape you will! And it will be a satisfying work.
Between the both of us we speak fluently in English, French, Turkish and Spanish. So I hope we can find a common language to communicate.
We love sharing ideas, lifestyle, being open to differences and welcoming anyone as long as we respect each other's space.
We're looking for people whom can stay minimum 2 weeks and more ( preferably couples with children but all are welcome) who has some experience with building, is handy and can help us 3 hours daily and enjoy beautiful Olympos the rest of the time! We have a 1833 m2 land in the woods which is 40 min. to the beach by foot, or 5km by car. Olympos is 80km west of Antalya and has a beautiful setting between the mountains, the sea, rock climbing, ancient city of Lycians... And lots of outdoor activities. For me it's a magical place!
We're climbers so would love to have climbers staying here!
We are rock climbers. So we would love to have climbers, climbers with kids even better...
We are pretty minimalist. We only have manual tools. You need to like living outside with minimal materials if you decide to come here.
we have running water, enough solar power to charge your phone, laptop and have lights, lots of trees, birds and peace....
We have a tent setup and a partly closed room for 2 made with straw bales for workawayers for now and setting is only getting better with time and help. There's a propane stove to cook and basic cooking equipment you need.
We only use ecological cleaning products like shampoo, soap, detergents etc. So please only bring this kind of things. That way we won't pollute our little paradise.Types d'aide et opportunités d'apprendre

Autres infos...
Olympos is a great place for outdoor lovers. Only 80km to Antalya where you can fly into from abroad with affordable prices, 40 minutes to Kumluca and Kemer by car. So close to civilization but so tranquil at the same time. Here there is trekking ( Lycian way starts from Fethiye goes to Antalya with a total of 509km ), only 40 minutes away by foot from Olympos beach, the mediterranean, the Ancient city of Lycians dated from 2nd century BC, more than 300 rock climbing routes, diving, Chimera ( where the olympics flame idea came from ) and many other things you will experience yourself....
There is a bus from Antalya to Olympos intersection every half hour (100 lira) from intersection you can either take another minibus or you can hitch. you need to get off at Nomad Lodge then you will walk 1.5 km uphill and voila you arrived :)
we are pescatarians. So we won't have any meat. we try to live as ecologic as possible. we don't use any chemical cleaning products. we speak english, french, spanish and turkish. We love to share and learn.Informations complémentaires

the time we spend at your place was way too short, but we had a wonderful, intense and fullfilling experience. It is really a place to slow down, enjoy the nature, and be with lovely people.
We were constructing the bathroom wall with natural materials, doing some gardening work and oiling the house, or playing with little Kaya… read more
