… read more like-minded people. The work hours were flexible which allowed us to take a couple of day trips to Hamelin, Hannover and Hamburg. Johann has good instincts for bringing good people together. My fellow Workawayers also made my stay a memorable one. Thank you for all the laughs. I'll miss cooking together, walking in the forest, foraging, and hanging out by the fire. I can’t wait to go back to see how this project evolves. Eunice was a real big help at our place. She was maintaining, cleaning, doing the garden and was really responsible and good in communication. We also had a great time off work and been to a lake, a blueberry field, did bonfires and went hiking. Lucia was at our place in July 2024 and helped so much. She was not only helping materially in cleaning, gardening and maintaining the place but also she spent time with our children. Sophie was just the perfect workawayer. She was super friendly, fun, responsable, relaxed and always up for a spontanous fun or work action. We had a great time together in summer '24 working on our new project. I wish she comes back one day to continue this friendship that has grown.

I don't know if i can find the right words to describe this workaway. It was just perfect for me. From the fist moment on i felt super welcomed and all the people were so lovley. … read more little village right next to a forest where you can have lots of nice walks and enjoy the silence of the nature. Also the food was delicious. I could learn a lot about vegan and healthy nutrition. The work was to renovate an old guesthouse so more people can come and live there together. The working hours where fair and they always make sure that I hade enough breaks. The communication was super easy and relaxed so i if i wanted a day off i let them know and then we planed the work for the week together. Next to work i was able to experience a lot of different things. If it was hot we went to the lake or a Swimmingpool and they also took me to Hameln to see the musical. And on my last weekend we went together to an ecstatic dance. It was the fist time for me and it was an amazig experience. All in all i can say it was an amazing time and i am so grateful for this experience. Thank you to all of you to make my time so special and i allready miss you a lot. Big hugs to everyone <3

You guys are really switched on and I admire the thought and consideration you guys have put into living simply alternatively.
I spent most of the time there chopping and stocking up wood for the ovens and helping Vana take clay from a deconstructed house, which I really enjoyed as a break from my usual work.

… read more outside for whenever I wanted to relax in nature and plenty of time to chill at home learning guitar or reading. I had some great opportunities for practicing my German, speaking to people about their stories and motives, and the two happy children always put a smile on my face whenever they were around.
I was open with them about being an ex-vegan and was delighted to learn about how they addressed some of the reasons I gave it up.
I kind of struggled eating there at first because the house was full of foods I don't normally eat and didn't really have much guidance, which was a bit daunting but slowly figured out an eating routine that worked for me.
Overall a nice experience,

Don’t unterestimate Sarah. She is joyful by nature and does her work with patience and determination. She also is a adorable human being who’s companionship is worthwhile. She helped us chopping and carrying wood, helping in the household, renovating several rooms, and was actually cocreating the sauna that we finished together in December 2022.

I stayed for 26 days with these wonderful people. This was my first workaway experience, and I am super grateful that I chose this place. They took me to several activities; I did akroyoga with Kathi, went to the choir with Jade and we went to a Therme. The food was really good (and healthy), and the forest is just magical. My stay here was a wonderful time. I was welcomed openheartedly and was deeply impressed by the loving atmosphere between the habitants. This is a great place to learn about a healthy vegan diet, living in tune with nature, traditional indigenous values, raising a child, community/tribal living, construction and of course lots about the food startup. Because I came here in Fall there wasn't a lot to do in the garden but I got to help with the construction of a tiny house, which was an awesome experience! Apart from that it was very interesting to get insights on how a food startup works and grows. The working atmosphere there is unique and I miss the crew a lot! I always enjoyed cooking in the evening and chatting with you. When you live with 10 people there is always someone to talk to. I shared a trailer with Michaela (the best fellow workaway I could have wished for) and we really appreciated to have this cozy little space to our own. One of the best things was to be sourrounded by trees and there is nothing like a walk through the autumn-coloured forest. Living with so many positive, idealistic people had a great impact on me. You showed me that it only takes a vision and the power to stay true to your ideals in order to change the world. It was a pleasure to be a part of this harmonious, loving community and I appreciate to have been included in everything, especially the beautiful rituals. I left this place feeling incredibly grounded and further healed. I can highly recommend everyone with an open heart and mind to seek out a place like this, you can only grow from this experience.

I spent three incredible weeks with the Vegan Tribe. Every single day, with all these warm-hearted, idealistic and inspiring people, was a beautiful day and an amazing opportunity for me to learn so much in such a short time like
I've probably never done before. It is a great place to learn about things like alternative lifestyles, healthy vegan
… read more diet, edible wild herbs, old native American customs or development and structure of a food Start-Up... It gave hope seeing how they realized their dreams of a better future in their jobs (the very idealistic Food Start-Up) as well as in their community. I helped in the garden, house and childcare, where I had a lot of freedom and could always carry in my own ideas. Also, I had a lot of fun working i and it felt good to help by such a meaningful work.

Well... where should I start. I spent four wonderful weeks in this amazing community! I arrived there after a not so pleasant stay at another workaway project and couldn’t have found a better place.
They were really including us in their life, rhythms and rituals and some of them I will really miss, like the big hugging party after the morning

The work was super versatile from Cracker baking and gardening to housebuilding and I really enjoyed the good mood at work and also doing tasks I wouldn‘t have trusted myself with beforehand.
The whole house and area has such a peaceful vibrant vibe which I felt like worked as a catalyst for bringing wishes into reality.
I can‘t remember other four weeks where I lived so much in the present moment than these.
But what made the place so special in the end were definitely the people, they took a lot of time for us, answering our questions and telling stories about their dreams and adventures
And not to forget, the food was pretty epic :)
