Description
Welcome to our little paradise nestled right in the heart of Santiago. Our home is an urban oasis filled with a vibrant garden, endless creative projects, in a family community house. Currently I live here with my friend and father of my son who does Thai massage and acro yoga and cooks delicious food and our adventurous 11-year-old son.
Our neighborhood is a hidden gem in the heart of the city. It's a residential area with everything you need just a stone's throw away. The metro station is only a few blocks from our doorstep, making it easy to explore all that Santiago has to offer. We’re also lucky to have a supermarket and little stores nearby for everyday essentials, and every Wednesday, the coolest veggie street market sets up just a block away from our home, filling the street with fresh produce, vibrant colors, and an incredible community vibe. It’s the perfect blend of city convenience and a laid-back, local atmosphere.
As for me, I’m a musician, world-schooling my son as we journey through life together, traveling often, and weaving our experiences into our home. We’ve just returned from our latest adventure, and now we’re diving into exciting home projects. My son is a cool kid with a passion for skating, climbing, and surfing. He’s always up for an adventure, whether it’s scaling trees or catching waves.
Our animal family includes a dog and a cat who get along wonderfully, spending most of their time in our lush garden. The space is a dream come true for nature lovers and creatives alike – we have a large trampoline, a multifunctional room that serves as a yoga studio, study space, and meditation sanctuary, trees to climb, a small bouldering wall, and even a stage for performances.
We are a happy, vegetarian mostly vegan household, thriving on cultural exchange and always welcoming new faces to join us in our journey, as we continue working on exciting projects around the house.Types d'aide et opportunités d'apprendre

Echange culturel et opportunités d'apprendre
Our home is a gathering place for creativity and cultural exchange, filled with fascinating people and experiences. We have a variety of musical instruments that everyone is welcome to play, and we often host fire nights where we gather around, sing, and share stories from our travels. My son and I are avid travelers, so we cherish the opportunity to connect with people from around the world and learn from each other.
I’m also a passionate vegan cook and would love to share tips and recipes with you. In return, we hope to learn from you—whether it’s new perspectives, skills, or stories from your culture. Sharing this space enriches us all, and we're excited to build these meaningful connections.
We’re also lucky to have Ricardo, who is open to taking you along to his sweat lodge group and the acro yoga practices he attends, which offer great opportunities for both physical and spiritual connection. If by any chance you have a worldschooler child, they’re more than welcome to join in on our family activities, creating an even richer environment for learning and growing together.
We also go boulder climbing at least twice a week, and you can join us!Projets impliquant des enfants

As I mentioned, we have quite a few exciting projects happening around the house. One of the main tasks is building a new kitchen/ dining area as an extension from the house, so we’ll need some strong hands for that! We’re also painting floors, revitalizing the garden, setting up new spaces for cultivating veggies, and the most exiting one on its way is finishing building a natural pool (the hole is already made) In addition, we’re organizing and activating a carpentry workshop and an art space. So, I’m looking for people who are comfortable using basic tools for building and have the muscle for demolition and building, as well as those with a gentle touch for working with the earth and plants, and also helping around the house, cleaning and tiding up.There’s a project for everyone here, and we’d love to have you!
Also, we welcome children! We have one cozy bedroom with a double-size bed available for guests, making it a comfortable space for you and your little ones to stay and enjoy our home.Langues parlées

For your stay, you’ll have a cozy bedroom that we usually reserve for bnb guests, and in case we have gests you will get another cozy bedroom, smaller but with a beautiful natural light. I’ll prepare breakfast and lunch for you from Monday to Friday, so you’ll be well-fed during the week. Please note that dinners and all meals on weekends are not included, allowing you to manage those independently.
Autres infos...
During your time off, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to explore Santiago. We live just a 10-minute walk from the metro station, which is the most convenient way to get around the city, although buses are also available. We might even be able to provide a bike for you if you'd like to explore on two wheels. Santiago has a lot to offer, including museums, cultural sites, and the nearby "Cerro Santa Lucía" and "Cerro San Cristóbal" – this is a large hill with pools, funiculars, restaurants, beautiful panoramic views of the city botanical garden, trails in nature, and so much more!. Then, just two metro stations away is "Barrio Italia," a lively neighborhood full of food, shopping, and entertainment, especially during the weekends.
If you’re into climbing, we’ve recently started visiting a nearby climbing spot that’s accessible by bike, and you’re welcome to join us!
House Rules:
Our home is strictly vegetarian, so please don’t bring any meat products and we also do not consume any dairy products.
We don’t wear shoes inside the house to keep things clean and comfortable.
Most importantly, please be mindful of our dog. She’s a bit of an escape artist and has been stolen three times before. Though she always comes back, we need to make sure she stays safe, so please don’t let her out.Informations complémentaires
