Description
We are Nicolas (33) , Cristina (30) and Bjørn (3), we live on a cozy campsite on Langeland in South Denmark.
The place is located in a small village near harbor and beaches. The area is good for fishing, snorkling, sailing and has beautiful landscapes to explore. We are 7 kilometers from the old city Rudkøbing and 25 kilometers from Svendborg.
Here you can try many activities from minigolf to disc golf, petanque and many others. You can loan a bike from us and explore around.
We are looking for self reliant people that are able to cook and entertain them self, and If there’s nothing going on, it’s really nice to have someone that just starts doing small tasks to help out around the house :)
We offer accommodation, food , bikes, free use of our facilities and services and some ''hygge'' evenings together.

Living with us you will have the opportunity learn about the Danish and Romanian culture and practice english (is the main language in our house).
You will most likely get some new friends and encounters and explore the seaside and the nature in your free time. There are beautiful areas to explore.
Depending on the time of you arrival you can experience the quiet and relaxation of the island or the sun and the buzzing turists during the summer months.

Aide
We are also looking for people that can play an instrument and sing for the months of Juny and August. :D the help hours for the musician are 4 days with 5 h and 3 days off. :D
You should expect around 4-5 hours a day / 5 days a week of work but that can vary. We can of course figure something out if you want to have more days off. :D
We have a big garden on 5 hectares where we will need some help with maintenance, such a painting, lawn mowing, bush cutting and we need some help with the cleaning and organising . :D
You will have to take a little care of the shared areas in house. We are taking turns with cooking so everyone gets a day to cook, we love to try new food and we are not picky.

Hébergement
We have available camper-vans for our volunteers.
You will share kitchen, bathroom and living spaces rather with other staying in the bnb or the campsite guests. We also have a private yard with a cozy greenhouse where we normally hygge in the evening and you are welcome to use it anytime.

Langeland is a very popular tourist destination, with a lot of attraction which we would recommend you should visit in your time off. You will be able to borrow, bikes, cars and boats for transport so you can explore the area.
We are located 2 hours away from Copenhagen and 1 hour away from Odense (where Hans Christian Andersen lived). We know pretty well both cities and we can help you get around. If you stay for a longer period of time you can register a CPR with us :D
