I am considering WAW guests. An exchange is based on trust, honesty and indeed tolerance of meeting new people. I am particularly prudent.
I will host guests in contagious-free from coronavirus safety, following guidelines and obligatory actions. Few people enter this household. In turn I would appreciate for you to attest virus free and that you have travelled responsibly. Where you are travelling to and from, means of transport, how long you could stay, your travel dreams are nice to know.
I halted seasonal bed and breakfast hosting.
A workaway lady takes exception to my needs and requirements of my profile on this workaway site, but I have a right to stand for that which I have written, and so I now provide further explanation. I thank her for bringing to my attention that she feels disrespected and that others may be offended. but I had no such intention. I have no intention to discuss gender diversity or gender free tasks! I am just living a life and cause no one offence unless they wish to be offended.
I have a right as a woman to accept men or women or women or men her as guests. AS to their gender, it is not my business. I just need a normal for me quiet life asking for help and support in exchange for herbergement!
I wrote and write:
"I would prefer to host a mature thinking woman but sorting tools and building gates might require the thoughts of a man though not wishing to be gender biased."
So... I would accept a man or a woman with appropriate skill and expertise, hence I am asking for a mature person man or woman... not someone who cannot use tools or who doesn't know what they are for! She didn't offer to be my guest nor appears to have knowledge skills and expertise, just as I do not!
We can't just keep picking on people for their interpretations of what we write without knowing the full picture.
I inherited old building tools which were sorted out with the previous owner as to what to keep and what to take to the recycling centre and Charitable Society. Now they need to be grouped according to what building trade they are for, to be cleaned & priced for second hand sale. It requires someone who knows.
Vide-greniers in France were halted but i could advertise a barn sale and I am inm preparation for the opportunity to distribute belongings usefully and not all to land waste!
Building a pair of new wooden gates needs someone with skill & expertise in carpentry who can make high quality gates using new wood to be measured and collected with a trailer and perhaps using recycled metal brackets or I may have to buy new ones.
A DIFFERENT TASK
I also have personal items which need another attempt at sorting and selling.
An extra pair of hands to keep lawns mowed, roses pruned, share company and conversation would be nice.
Camping in the garden, if you have a tent could be an option but there is a single bedroom and plenty of fresh air.
Please apply if you can work with tolerance and happiness in exchange for accommodation, meals & a quiet, safe place to be. This is English and French speaking. PRIVATE home. Quiet village.
I too need to travel on my own within France. So trying to organise anything means seeking opportunity and availability!

Angles sur L'Anglin is a Garden of Paradise, Artists Dream, famous for Magdalennian rock shelter carvings, 'Les Jours' embroidery and a ruined 12th century Chateau. You can walk, cycle, swim, canoe, kayak, fish. The village in winter has fewer than 400 full time residents and in Summer expands with many Parisian and other second home owners. There are restaurants, restos, bars, a wonderful English tea shop serving meals, a bakery, a multi-services bar and shop with Wifi, small library and market vans. Oysters are sold in appropriate months. Check availability in winter as restaurants close without tourists! It has a part time Tourist Office. No cinema. Supermarkets within 10km. Spa town 12km. One to two hours drive to River Loire Chateaux. On the border of Brenne National Park, a haven for flora and fauna. It is unsuitable for those who like city razzamatazz. Every day is different, yet stone walled houses have stood for aons and pathways take you to hidden natural treasures.
No Street lights after 23h / 24h.
Roadside gates close around dusk.
