HELP NEEDED IN ORGANIC AGRICULTURE / BIOCONSTRUCTION / CHILD CARE
We are a small permaculture farm in the 11th year. We have a house build with COB and Strawbale where we lives with our 8 year old baby. We are producing our own food (organic vegetables), planting trees, building with natural materials, etc.
During winter and cold months we have a comfy house for volunteers.
In summer, we also have space for camp and a open roof space for cook and relax for volunteers.
We use Compost toilet and an opened warm shower, sometimes you can take a hot shower inside our house.
We are located in Trevelin, a small town in the Andean Patagonia in Argentina.
This spring and summer, we would like to improve the orchad, building an extension of our house so there is going to be a lot of learnings, hard work and fun.
Also we have a temazcal to practice this tradicional ceremony. We do it once a month so you are welcome to join if you want.
We are looking for people that are really willing to learn, that doesnt fear to the hard work and that can commit to the place and be responsable. Also people that are easy going and want to have fun in a nice and familiar enviroment. We do a lot of physical work, so it is important that you are interested in working out even you dont have expirience.
Sometimes we need you to take care of our son, so it is really important to us that you are used to kids and that you are opened to spend time with him.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
We ask you to stay 2- 3 weeks minimum. We are funny and easy going, but we are really serious with our activities and we aprecciate when people are commited with the work we do. We consider that 2 weeks is the rigth timing to connect to each other and get to know each other depper, beyond the work we share. So please stay at least that time :)
We are responsable consumers, so We dont allow any food thay generates garbage. It is not allow to bring cans, plastic bottles, cigarretes or any other containers with this materials. We are really serious with this. In our community it is a big deal. You will find out more about it, when you visit us,
Bring enough coat for the patagonia, because sometime there is 4 seasons happening in one day.
We have always had good experiences with our visitors and volunteers... we hope to see you soon.

Oportunidades de turismo en Trevelin y alrededores
Trevelin es un pequeño y tranquilo pueblo al pie de la cordillera de los Andes.
Las bellezas y atractivos naturales están por todas partes: lagos, montañas, ríos, cascadas… Hay una interesante variedad de propuestas de agroturismo incluyendo viñedos, frutas finas y miel. El Parque Nacional Los Alerces se encuentra a 30 minutos de distancia y ofrece excelentes oportunidades para trekking, camping, kayak, etc.
¿Cómo llegar?
Trevelin se encuentra en la zona cordillerana de la provincia de Chubut, Patagonia Argentina.
El aeropuerto más cercano está en la Ciudad de Esquel, a 30 minutos de distancia, donde llega un vuelo diario desde Buenos Aires de Aerolíneas Argentinas.
Otra opción puede ser volar a Bariloche donde hay más oferta de aerolíneas y procedencias, desde allí tomar un autobús de 5 horas a Esquel (Vía Bariloche, Andesmar, etc) o hacer dedo.
Desde Esquel a Trevelin hay colectivos frecuentes (empresa Jacobsen) que tardan cerca de 30 minutos.
Desde el pueblo de Trevelin son 3,5km hasta nuestro centro vivencial de permacultura. Puedes tomar un Remise o caminar.

¡BIOCONSTRUCTION! This is the priority now.NOW the main work is the expansion of our house and the general maintenance of the garden.
Additionally, the maintenance of the farm including planting trees, irrigation, various tasks, compost, nursery, etc.
AHORA el trabajo principal es la ampliación nuestra casa y el mantenimiento general de la huerta.
Adicionalmente el mantenimiento de la chacra incluyendo plantar arboles, riego, tareas varias, compost, vivero, etc.

We offer camp space and a open roof space for cook and relax for volunteers.

We offer lunch and some veggies from the garden for your dinners. Anything else you need is by your own. We encourage you to be independent and selfresponsable with the cleaning.
Ofrecemos espacio para acampar y tenemos un espacio techado abierto para uso de los voluntarios con cocina y espacio para relajarse.
Usamos baño seco compostero y ducha solar caliente al aire libre.
Brindamos el almuerzo y algunas verduras de la granja para tu cena. Los demas alimentos corren por tu cuenta.
Motivamos a que experimentes con la preparación de tus desayunos y cenas siendo independiente y responsable con la limpieza.
