  Description

  We are a friendly family of 4 + dog and cat living in Mangawhai on the coast of New Zealand north of Auckland. If you are after ocean and water, there is ample opportunity for surfing, diving, boating and fishing here. We also have an amazing cliff walk that is definitely worth doing.
  
  PLEASE NOTE: You will need a vehicle to get here, there is no public transport
  
  We are happy to host hard working, reliable, fun and easy going people who like to take initiatives in exchange for help outside in our olive grove and inside house keeping.
  
  We currently have a little cabin that needs to be renovated and tidied up. House work, cooking, cleaning, and childminding are also much appreciated. If you have experience as a teacher who follow RiE and free play philosophies that's an extra bonus.
  
  You will have your own cabin to sleep in. We usually set you up to have your own camping fridge with food for breakfast and lunch and a separate toilet. Dinners we eat together.
  
  We have a garden that we like to eat from. We are carnivore. As a norm we don't eat processed foods or refined sugars but do sometimes get ready made or takeaways.
  
  We share the cooking and cleaning up depending on hours and eat early as we try to put our kids to bed at 7.30pm.
  
  We ask for 25 hours per week, if you want to work longer one day to have the next off that is fine.
  
  At the moment we are looking for help in the garden, to renovate a shed and do some child minding.

  We are an international family with roots in Europe, Australia and New Zealand. We travelled for much of our lives and now settled in Atearoa with a just turns 11 year old and 1 year old.
  
  We love meeting people from around the world and appreciate all the help you do for us on our property.
  
  New Zealand is a beautiful country and we are located in the perfect spot for surfing and ocean experience.
  
  We are happy to help you navigate the country with reccomendations and advice.

  Aide

  Looking for friendly, problem-solvers that are engaging take initiative and love children . Couples (or single females) to stay for 1 - 4 weeks.
  
  You will be in charge of the garden, house keeping and cooking plus child minding or assisted learning.
