  Description

  We are a Franco-American couple living in a XV century manoir located in the west of France near Le Mans. We are looking for someone to assist with painting, sheet rocking, plastering and sanding the walls in our finished attic and in our guest house. Healthy French-American cuisine. Hosts are delighted to offer vegan/gluten free meals if requested. Great cycling and hiking in our area and mountain bikes available for our work awayers. Yoga each morning in the garden for those interested. Situated on the edge of the Loire Valley, lots of interesting villages and towns to explore via cycling on your time off. Mountain bikes, locks and back packs provided.

  Aide

  Looking for the strong and able bodied to help reconstruct a XVth century stone wall surrounding a 20 acre medieval farm. Also, seeking help with the renovation of our guest house, with gardening, maintenance and general housekeeping. Gardening would include cutting grass, trimming hedges, mowing the lawn. Housekeeping to include help with laundry, ironing, cleaning windows. The wall restoration project would be to help rebuild a stone wall surrounding the property. Mixing plaster and placing the rocks into position to be permanently fixed with the plaster.

  Private guest house with bath and kitchen will be available for work awayers. Delicious French cuisine prepared and raw foods cooking instruction if desired.

  Train service to Le Mans and we will pick you up and deliver you back to the train station. We have a hot air balloon and weather permitting we could fly in the late afternoons.
