  Description

  Hi, we are Steve and Emily, and we run a fantastic Bed and Breakfast in Williams Lake, located in the heart of the spectacular Cariboo region of British Columbia. Our scenic 27 acre (11 hectare) property is privately located just 10 minutes from downtown Williams Lake. We are an active couple, enjoying the outdoors and our friendly family of horses, barn cats and three Australian Shepherds.
  
  We are looking for someone active, animal friendly and eager to help us out with a variety of projects and chores. We would prefer someone that wanted to stay more than just a few weeks. And with so many attractions and outdoor adventures at our doorstep, Williams Lake is a perfect place to spend some quality time.

  Discover Xatśūll First Nations Heritage Village and the Williams Lake Stampede. Explore the Gold Rush Trail, Farwell Canyon, Churn Creek and the beautiful Chilcotin Plateau, and visit nearby Barkerville Historic Town. Experience some of BC’s best mountain biking in Williams Lake, which has a network of over 200kms of amazing trails to explore (fantastic for hiking and trail running as well). Reach the alpine in the Cariboo Mountains around Likely, and check out the many trails in the Wells, Barkerville and South Cariboo areas. Enjoy undisturbed swimming, fishing and paddling in one of hundreds of lakes nearby.

  Aide

  With a busy B&B, a large property, horses and a big vegetable garden, work projects could involve helping out with the B&B, housekeeping, gardening, picking berries and processing vegetables, fencing, small building projects, painting, trail building and maintenance on our beautiful 27 acre property, helping out with our horses, barn chores, getting hay and wood, etc.

  Hébergement

  Quiet, comfortable private room with double bed. Private shower and bathroom. Relax in our beautiful spacious Parlour which houses our B&B breakfast facility. The Parlour also has a kitchenette, comfortable lounge seating with views over the property, a TV, and a big stone fireplace.

Williams Lake is located in a sheltered valley of the vast Interior Plateau of central British Columbia, 552km/343mi north of Vancouver and 240km/149mi south of Prince George. Situated on the north shore of a lake of the same name, and surrounded by tree clad, trail-laced hillsides, Williams Lake is a natural jumping-off point for a myriad of outdoor activities.
