Description
Hello!
We are an Italian-Greek family of 4: Anna, Nikos, Elio, a 9 years old boy, and Artemis, a 7 1/2 years old girl.
Elio and Artemis are happy kids, cute, lovely and playful, open and cheerful, excited of knowing new people; they'll enjoy your company for sure!
We have also two cats whose name are Rossa and Coco
The responsibilities that we'd like to ask our guest are, about 95% of the time of housekeeping and maybe 5% dedicated to the kids; for a total of about 4 hours/day
We live at less than 1km from the seaside, in the nice and lively town of Heraklion, Crete island.
You are going to be accommodated in your own private room, with no expenses.
We believe in kindness, respect, sharing and ...good vibes;
we eat healthy food, and we enjoy to share meals with our guests
we have a healthy life style, we go swimming often and we prefer outdoor activities
We like living in a clean and tidy house

You will be living in the center of the beautiful Crete island, by the sea, in Heraklion.
That means that you will be able to travel all around visiting all the most popular sites you like.
You will have more than 2 days off per week that can be used to travel when agreed together
The town also offers many things, like pubs, nice nightlife, beach, shops, cinemas etc ....
We have enjoyed ourselves different forms of cultural exchange in the past, including studying and leaving abroad, couchsurfing, blablacar and travelling a lot!
so we would like our kids to enjoy this mind-opening experience together with us.

Aide
We aim hosting a girl/woman (sorry men!)
We would like to host you who are proactive in helping in the "daily routine+the unforeseen" and who truly love kids and are motivated to spend quality time with them.
The kids are bilingual Italian and Greek right now,
and we experienced that kids particularly appreciate when we host workawayers who can speak one of these two; the interactions easier and pleasant. So, speaking either Greek or Italian i preferable but not mandatory, don't worry.
ABOUT HOUSEKEEPING
The help we need consist of about 3 hours/day of proactive housekeeping, preferably in the morning .
We wish to host people for whom cleanliness and tidiness are important
ABOUT CHILDCARE
The help we need with the kids will consist of a couple of hours of childcare per week (no need some other days), including assisting them when we are busy in some work or extra-work activity. Most of the time they are at school or busy with extra-school activities.
Two or more days off per week are guaranteed;
days and hours of help should be adapted to our working shifts, that are mainly regular but could require a little bit of flexibility.
We will not ask you to be available at nights or on weekends, with some possible exceptions which will be arranged with you according to your availability, of course!
FREE TIME
You will have quite a lot of spare time which offers you the possibility to do what you like/need such as studying, doing sports, writing, reading, visiting, meeting friends and so on including enjoying CRETE!
NOTE Our meals are often vegetarian but meat is not banned; we like sharing meals with our guest, however, this is not mandatory, you can be independent.

In town everything is at walking distance. We also have a bicycle available
