Description
We are a patchwork family: Gaisma, Jörg and my daughter Laira.
We decided 2009 to leave Berlin and start a new life in Portugal. On the property, I bought already 1998, when I was pregnant with my daughter. Step by step, we created our little paradise by planting trees, flowers and make the gardening.
We rebuilded the old clay house. Now it is a modern, comfortable country house located in the heart of nature in the "Serra do Cao". A small lake invites you to swim on warm days. Through our idyllic valley flows a spring stream and the hidden jungle pool invites you for a jump into the cold, refreshing water. A spectacular view over the mountains can be seen whilst hiking.
During the summer we are renting rooms we need help in the garden to keep the property nice. woodwork, painting,...
We own a dog hostel and a dog school sometimes we need help for dogwalks.
Jörg and me are passionate cooks, we would love to sit with you at our big table with a great meal and a nice glass of wine, celebrating our new friendship.
We speak German, English, Portugese and Latvian.

Aide
We have a smal eco farm and need help to cut high grass and blackberrys, planting, take care of the garden and feeding chickens. Picking up the olives in Oct.. To make orange jam in May. Painting and renovating the house.
Go on walks with the hostel dogs.

I spent two weeks at their place and helped with painting, cleaning and walking some dogs.

He spent 5 weeks on our property, helped us to build a terrace and cleaned the property out of high grass and blackberees. He is experienced to work with a trimmer and even with a chain saw.
I can recommend him highly!
