Eva and Mike were 2,5 weeks with us. They made a nice willow woven fence and were eager to learn. We exchanged some good recipes. They have a nice curiosity for the Dutch nature and culture and were able to explore quite a bit of this region.
They did a good job in loading and unloading a lot of trailers with branches (willow and beech). We
… read more really appreciated their help. Eva can really focus on the jobs and she is very flexibel and hardworking. Mike is also flexibel, but his focus is a bit less. We really enjoyed Mike playing on his mouthharp.
We didn’t like it that Mike smoked. It’s not in the profile. But they were respectful with it and always smoked outside and cleaned up after themselves.
It made us happy to stay with this family. Elke organized everything very well, the work was fun and varied. Everyone we met was a great and interesting person, we hope we’ll see this people again. We learned to make own kefir and yogurt and how to build willow fences….Thank you for this experience.

We really enjoyed having Noam staying at our community farm. He is very social, respectful, flexible and a good teamplayer. Apart from all the good work in the garden Noam was also very interested in the work in the kitchen. He was curious about how to preserve the harvest. We shared some good recipes and also shared good talks together during the

I liked hearing about the life in Israël and also enjoyed our joined interest in vegetables growing and harvesting as well as exchanging knowledge about our cultures. I feel we really connected to eachother, also because Noam is a very good observer with a nice curiosity in other people and cultures.
The only sad part was, that he left so soon. We would have liked it if he could have stayed longer. Thank you Noam for everything!

My stay with Elke and the folks was incredible. I got to stay there for the beginning of August which means I got there just in time for harvest, so I enjoyed cooking and eating the fresh produce. During my stay I got to relax and have fun with the small community what is living on the premise, and join them in their daily activities - not just
… read more working but also spending time together, cooking and sharing meals. I had the freedom to explore the area, go to the woods for some quite nature time as well as the towns around. Elke provided us with bikes and offered rides when needed, so it was really accessible for me.
Besides the activities I also had the time and peace of mind to think and find my inner peace, and Elke had an important role in helping me achieve this goal of my trip. I learned many new things about sustainable living, but also about living in peace with self and nature, that I will take with me. Recipes, new words and phrases, and perspective on life.
Thank you Elke and everyone else there for being such good listeners, for the great conversations we had and the good time we shared together!!

Elke and her parents made me feel like part of their family from the very beginning. Also the other people in the community are so open-hearted and always with a smile. Everybody of them integrated me and helped whenever I had questions. Especially Elke made always sure that I feel comfortable and that we're going to do what I wanna do. I could

So mostly I could work outside in the garden with Gerhard (her dad) which I enjoyed a lot. All of them explained the processes to make me understand what, why and how things are going on. I'm very grateful for everything I've earned, for the meditation sessions, for the nice campfire and also for all the tasty food they shared with me. They eat mostly organic, selfmade and from the region, I really loved the selfmade bread! Elke and her parents are also perfect guides, they recommended me so many nice places, gave me one of their bikes, lunch packages and rides to the train/bus station or other cities! I'll miss this lovely community and also the daily coffee breaks where we always had nice cakes or sweets. 😍
I definitely recommend to stay at this peaceful and wonderful place in nature.Vous pouvez seulement contacter les workawayers avec une adhésion active.

We were very happy with Jelena staying with us. She is a very friendly, kind, enthousiastic young woman with a lot of awareness about and respect for nature and the environment. We liked to have her around, because she is always positive and happy to help. The things she didn't know she picked up fast, but she already knew a lot about gardening,

It was nice to practice some German. Too bad she only staid for 2 weeks. She is more than welcome to come again. I'm glad the strawberries were ripe, so she could pick and enjoy them, because the rest of the fruits weren't yet ready to be picked. It's very nice to see a young woman enjoying nature and the outside so much.Feedback

We really enjoyed having Veerle in our home. She is a very nice, friendly, easygoing person to have around. We had a wonderful time together, eventhough we had a lot of rain the days she was here. Because of that she worked in our small green house and turned it into an oasis. She really made a difference and had us all participate in making it

We were very lucky that Veerle wanted to come back for a couple of days after 2 months. The only bad thing was that it were to short stays, we would have loved it, if she stayed a bit longer. Not only did she help us a lot in the green house and in the garden but it was also fun to have her around. We had some nice talks and laughs. She helped out in the kitchen, made us a wonderful dinner and most of all we enjoyed seeing her smile and see her happy in all the things she did. She even helped us in her last half hour to unload a trailer of sand.
In short: we hare very happy and grateful that Veerle was in our home and participated in our small community in every way. Hopefully she comes back some day;-)

I had such a lovely stay with Elke, her parents and the others on the community farm. The place is a little oasis enveloped by trees and hedges. All the people are so friendly and it made me happy to spend time with them while contributing to all the work that needs to be done. They have a lush storage of organic foods, their own little mill to

Elke is a lovely host. She will like to get to know you and would like to introduce you to the area, tell you where to go, will notify you about social and cultural events and if you want to explore the rest of The Netherlands, someone on the farm will happily drive you to the train station from where it is easy to visit Eindhoven, Utrecht, Maastricht and many other cities and sites.
If you will go here, be ready for a warm welcome, a homely house, good food and a relaxed work environment with the loviest of people :-)Vous pouvez seulement contacter les workawayers avec une adhésion active.
