    Description

    Hello!

We are a farmstay and inspiration centre, started in April 2021. We create a place where internationals and locals venture ways for simple, creative, sustainable and abundant life. We have a longterm vision to support the local community - providing work/learn spaces with exchange, growth, skills and joy. We believe a world full of abundance and co-creation is possible, for everyone. Think of programs like: organic farming, homestay running, education programs for youth, waste management, women empowerment through bakery/tailoring, and a centre for yoga/music/art.

We are located amidst the Himalayan foothills (1700m), a 5 hours scenic drive from Rishikesh in a mountain town called Pauri. On a clear day, layers of mountains and The Himalayas greet us from our garden. Karan (India) and Lieke (Netherlands) are the founders of this project. So far we have done crowdfunding, tuitions for children, hosted 40+ volunteers, organic farming, and completed much renovation work. Our tailoring and bakery projects are in the baby phase :). In Pauri there aren't many tourist facilities nor NGO's of this holistic kind, so it's special to start here. We aim to move forward in: permaculture, builds for our education & yoga, expanding women projects & education, and MUCH MORE. Because life’s ever expanding. And we are so excited to share with magical people who feel the same.

To settle restfully into your ways here, we encourage you to stay for (at least) 2 weeks.

    Love,
    Karan and Lieke

Exchange with culture and community is all around. We have a Nepalese family living nextdoor with whom we collaborate and share the farm. Karan comes from Pauri though he has also lived elsewhere in India. His English is fluent. Lieke comes from The Netherlands. She has lived, travelled and worked in different countries and also her English is fluent.

    - Painting exterior walls of the house.
    - Helping with the education program for children. Please reach out for further details if interested.
    - Woodwork: chairs / wooden gate / side tables... Necessary equipment/machines available.
    - Permaculture: integrating permaculture practices into our garden. Watering, mulching, planting and harvesting. We have a polyhouse and compost pit.. fruit trees: walnut, pear, orange and lemon trees. Its 1-1.5 acre spread over different terraces. We want to show that it is possible to have a productive garden despite size and monkeys.
    - Other small paint and renovation jobs
    - Making a small pond / mosaic bench / mural / something creative!

If you have any other skills and you feel like staying and sharing, please let us know.

We invite people that share a vision of a more simple and abundant world. Who like to bring in eco-friendly ideas, whilst also understanding that life’s not to be perfect and we’re on a journey together. Besides this we want to share and enjoy a beautiful process of co-creation. We love to make this place with others.
