  Description

  After many years of travelling, discovering new cultures and living many different adventures, I have finally settled in Fuerteventura, an island that has given me a lot and that I now feel lucky to call home. I would love to give something back by sharing my place with open-minded, respectful and curious people who enjoy connecting with others and experiencing local life in a more authentic way.
  
  I am originally from Spain, but I have spent a big part of my life abroad. I studied Marine Sciences, and my path has always been connected to the ocean, nature, sustainability and biotechnology. These days I work mostly from home on different biotech and environmental projects, so my weeks are usually focused and quite busy, but I always try to keep a good balance between work, nature and enjoying the island.
  
  I would describe myself as active, curious, friendly and easy-going. I like simple plans, good conversations, learning from people with different backgrounds, and sharing what I know when someone is genuinely interested. I have always enjoyed being around travellers because everyone brings a different story, a different perspective and a different way of seeing life.
  
  When I was younger, I used platforms like Workaway to travel and meet local people, and some of those experiences became really special memories. Now I am in a position where I can offer that same kind of experience to others: a relaxed home, a beautiful island, and the chance to discover Fuerteventura from a more local and personal side.
  
  I live with my dog Brandy, who is part of my little family here. Home for me is a calm and friendly space, not a party house, but a place where people can feel welcome, comfortable and free to enjoy the island while also respecting the house and the good atmosphere :)

  When I was younger, I used platforms like Workaway to travel, meet local people and discover places in a more authentic way. Now that I have the chance, I would like to offer that experience to other travellers and help them feel welcome in Fuerteventura.
  
  I can offer surf lessons or take you surfing when the conditions are good. I also have a small boat, so on some weekends, if the sea and weather allow it, we can go out along the coast, look for dolphins, snorkel, explore beautiful places or even visit nearby islands.
  
  I also enjoy hiking, discovering volcanic landscapes, wild beaches and less touristy spots around the island. I like sharing local life, good conversations and outdoor plans with open-minded and respectful people.
  
  If you are interested, I can also share a bit about my work in biotechnology, sustainability and marine-related projects.

  Aide

  I live in a spacious apartment right by the sea in Fuerteventura, in a quiet area with a lot of nature around. I work from home during the week and I am usually quite focused on my projects, so I would love to find someone who can help me a little with my dog Brandy and with keeping the house nice and tidy.
  
  The main help would be spending time with Brandy, taking him for walks on the beach and giving him some attention while I am working. He is an affectionate and active dog, and he really enjoys being outside by the sea.
  
  I am not looking for many hours of help. Around 2 to 3 hours per day would be enough. This would include walking Brandy, keeping him company for a while, and helping with simple house tasks such as keeping the common areas clean, helping with the kitchen after meals, sweeping or doing small things to keep the apartment comfortable.
  
  I am looking for someone responsible, clean, independent and kind with animals. The idea is to share a relaxed and friendly experience, not to create a strict work environment

  Hébergement

  You would have a large private room in the apartment, with a window, natural light and everything needed for a comfortable stay.
  
  The apartment has a terrace and shared areas such as the kitchen, bathroom and living room. It is a calm home, right in front of the sea, and a nice place to enjoy the island lifestyle.
  
  I provide the basic household products, such as cleaning products, toilet paper, soap and daily essentials. Food is also included.
  
  I only ask that the person respects the house, keeps things clean after using them, and helps maintain a good atmosphere at home

  Brandy is an important part of my life, so it is important for me to find someone who genuinely likes dogs and enjoys spending time with them.
  
  During the week I am usually busy working from home, so the person should be fairly independent and happy to organise their own free time. There will be plenty of time to enjoy the island, go to the beach, surf, relax or make your own plans.
  
  This is not a party house, but it is a friendly and relaxed home. I value respect, cleanliness, clear communication and good energy.
  
  Accommodation in a private room, food and basic household products are included. In exchange, I would appreciate around 2 to 3 hours of help per day with Brandy, beach walks and small house tasks

  Brandy (1 an)

  Brandy is my dog and an important part of my life here in Fuerteventura. He is affectionate, energetic and very social. He loves being outside, going for walks, running on the beach and spending time near the sea.
  
  He is a happy dog with a lot of personality, and he really enjoys attention and company. During the week, while I am working from home, it would be great for him to have someone who can take him for a walk, play with him a little and keep him company.
  
  Brandy needs someone kind, patient and responsible. He is active and curious, so it is important to pay attention during walks, especially near roads or other animals. He is not a difficult dog, but he does need someone who genuinely likes dogs and enjoys spending time with them.
  
  If you like animals and outdoor life, Brandy will probably become your best friend very quickly
