  Description

  We, Marion and Bernhard, moved to a small farm between Laxå and Degerfors six years ago. We now live here with cats, rabbits, chickens and a dog. Our farm is located in the middle of the forest, surrounded by beautiful nature, not far from a lake where you can go on lovely paddling trips in our rowboat. Just a few kilometers away, there is a barbecue area by the lake where you can spend wonderful days and evenings. The nearest sandy beach, which is ideal for swimming, is also only 30 minutes away by bike. The nearest shopping facilities are in the village 7 km away, where there is also a small, cozy café.
  Bicycles are available and you are welcome to use them.
  Everyday life here is characterized by peace and quiet without stress.
  
  Nevertheless, we would be very happy to have some help with the daily care of the animals, gardening and maintenance of the facilities. In general, there is always something to do around the house and yard.
  We are a private homestead and only produce for our own consumption.
  We would like you to help us five days a week, about 20 to 25 hours in total. Depending on the weather and the current tasks, we would like to handle this flexibly.

  We moved from Germany to Sweden and can share these experiences with you.
  We are happy to share our knowledge in organic gardening, animal care, outdoor life, the language and the Swedish culture.
  There are several attractions and cultural sites nearby that can be visited, e.g., Örebro Castle, Wadköping, historic churches, nature reserves...

  Help with the daily care of the animals, gardening and maintenance of the facilities. In general, there is always something to do around the house and yard.

  Hébergement

  We provide a caravan with electricity and Wi-Fi, cooking and washing facilities, a refrigerator, and a 140 x 200 cm bed. If necessary, we can provide an additional small tent.
  We have an outhouse and an outdoor shower, which can be used with warm water.
  We are happy to cook and eat with you in the evening, but as we eat a mostly meat-based diet, you are free to prepare yourself vegetarian or vegan meals in the caravan if you wish.
  We can obtain the ingredients for you, as long as they are available in the area.
  We welcome individuals, couples, or two friends who feel comfortable staying together in the caravan.

  As we live in a remote location with no public transport connections, a driver's license and your own car would be advantageous. As mentioned, the nearest small village is 7 km away and the nearest small town is about 20 km away.
  If you would like to spend time with us without a car, bicycles are available and, as far as our time allows, we can also drive you somewhere, e.g. to the nearest train station in Laxå. From there, you can easily reach Örebro, Stockholm, or Gothenburg, for example.
