Description
Hi my wife Laura and I (René) with our 3 kids (13,8 and 2) are a family of 5 living in central Portugal on a Quinta in Avô where we are busy to get self sufficient with fruits and vegetables, have a river beach in the village and beautiful walking routes nearby. A little shop for daily needs and a paderia to drink a coffee or a beer and grab some bread and a talk.
We love to cooperate with volunteers to help us with the vegetable garden, land cleaning and maybe also helping us with improving some things like painting exteriors.
What we can provide is to give our volunteers a good stay in 1 of the 2 apartments which we’ve totally renovated this year with all modern equipment and even with airconditioning to have a relaxed stay on our Quinta after a day of work with us to have a private space to relax also.

The exchange will be work and learn with and from each other and site seeing the mountains in the area. We like to go out with the volunteers and maybe if they want to learn Dutch we can help them. Telling about our emigration and inspiring each other in life questions.

Aide
Help us with the vegetable garden improvements, land clearing strumming and maybe painting the exterior walls of the main house. In general all tasks will be done together with us or at least one of us.

Hébergement
1 of our 2 fully renovated apartments in the 2nd small Quinta on our own land with airconditioning, relaxing sofa, dining table with good chairs, tv, internet UTP and WiFi, a full equipped kitchen and private bathroom and bedroom with a very good and comfortable 160x200cm 2 person bed.
We will provide lunch and dinner like sandwiches and cooked meals each day or when we can’t we’ll give them food to make their own meal in their own apartment.
