  Description

  We are a Japanese/Australian couple with a growing family who need help for a few weeks in either October or November.
  
  While our area is famous for powder snow skiing during winter, autumn's changing leaves and cool mountain air make for great hiking and an authentic rural Japanese experience.
  
  We have worked in tourism for many years and as such, we enjoy meeting (and look forward to hosting) self-motivated, positive, and respectful travellers and hearing of their travels and experiences. We have a young daughter (with another on the way who will have arrived by late September) and we live in a quiet neighbourhood, so this not suitable for those who are looking to enjoy nightlife, etc.,.

  We speak English and Japanese at home and so there is the opportunity to learn a bit of Japanese.

  Aide

  We are looking for 1, 2 or perhaps a veyry small group of people to help us out for 1 or 2 weeks during October, or perhaps November.
  
  As it turns out, we are moving house and having our second child at the same time, and so we are looking for a few people to come stay and help us give our lodge a bit of a spring (autumn) clean. The lodge will not be operating at the time. Workawayers will be the only people staying onsite.
  
  We will not be living in the same building (but will be right across the street if you need anything) and so you will have the whole place to yourselves.
  
  Duties will include general cleaning and perhaps some simple maintenance stuff. We expect it should only be 2 weeks or so. If you can only stay 1 week or 10 days, etc, feel free to get in touch as either should be fine really.

  Private room in a 7-bedroom lodge. Free use of gym. Free internet. Commercial kitchen to prepare meals in.

  Myoko during October is cool but not cold, and perfect for hiking, relaxing and soaking up rural Japan (before all the foreign guests roll in during the busy winter period).
