House sitting at a lovely countryside home in Sarcey, close to Lyon, France

  Description

  Bonjour! We are a family of 3 and we live in a very nice little village in the Beaujolais area, close to Lyon. We LOVE travelling and meeting new people, sharing our culture and discovering others'. We live in an old farm composed of 3 houses: our house and 2 guesthouses. There is a big yard with a swimming pool and we are close to vineyards. The view is stunning. Driving to Lyon will take about 35 minutes.
  
  We need people not for the guesthouses but for our home to take care of our two cats, hens and the yard, the pool while we're away from the beginning of May to mid July 2026. We will probably be home part of the time but you'll be on your own most of this period.

  Dependind on whe you arrive and when we leave, you'll spend a couple of weeks with us in our home so we'll be able to get to know each other and share meals. Then, when we're away, you'll meet hosts from different places who stay in the guesthouses if you feel like chatting with them, as well as my secretary who has an office next to the house and the woman who cleans the guesthouses. We live in a small but very lively village and if you want, you'lle be able to participate to the events that take place in the area. You can discover our lovely countryside and the city of Lyon which is not far.

  Aide

  We are hoping to travel around Europe for about 2 months. We are looking for one or two people to house sit, take care of our cats mosttly and the yard a little (water plants, check the pool).
  
  The best would be to arrive at the end of April or beginning of May to live with us for a week or two so we can show you around and then you'll be on you own for about 2 months.

  I work from home so it is possible to work from our place easily. You'll have time to work along with what you have to do for us since it won't take you much time
