  Description

  Hello! My name is Gonzalo, I am in the process of restoring a beautiful place in Gran Canaria in the province of Las Palmas. With great enthusiasm we are recovering the agricultural landscape, the cave houses and the 3-hectare plot of land.
  For now I am cultivating part of the land, with MILPA, the pre-Columbian association of corn, beans and squash. In another part of the land an Agroforestry System has been designed and implemented. We are also restoring the cave houses so that they are habitable again and rescuing fruit trees that were abandoned.
  The project in development aims to cover several lines: Agroecology, Permaculture, Bioconstruction, Traditional Trades, Crafts, Culture, Art Residency, Audiovisuals.
  For now the project is developed with the help of friends and volunteers who come to lend a hand, there are also seven chickens that help to clear weeds ;)
  
  Hola! mi nombre es Gonzalo, estoy en proceso de recuperación de un lugar precioso en Gran Canaria en la provincia de Las Palmas, con mucha ilusión estamos recuperando el paisaje agrícola, las casas cueva y el terreno de 3 ha.
  Por ahora estoy cultivando una parte del terreno, con MILPA la asociación precolombina de maíz, judías y calabaza. En otra parte del terreno ha sido diseñado y implementado un Sistema Agroforestal. También estamos restaurando las casas cueva para que vuelvan a ser habitables y rescatando árboles frutales que fueron abandonados.
  El proyecto en vías de desarrollo pretende abarcar varias líneas: Agroecología, Permacultura, Bioconstrucción, Oficios Tradicionales, Artesanía, Cultura, Residencia de Arte, Audiovisuales.
  Por ahora el proyecto se desarrolla con la ayuda de amigos y voluntarios que vienen a echar una mano, también hay siete gallinas que ayudan a desbrozar ;)

  You can learn about the garden in general, the agricultural management of a MILPA, traditional restoration of cave houses, bioconstruction, crafts (cane, ceramics, banana fiber), chickens.

  Learn about Geology and Environment (I am an environmental geologist and Ecohydrologist)
  And about audiovisuals, I write and direct short films ;)
  
  Puedes aprender sobre el huerto en general, la gestión agrícola de una MILPA, restauración tradicional de casas cueva, bioconstrucción, artesanía ( caña, cerámica, fibra de platanera), gallinas.
  También puedes practicar idiomas ( español, inglés, portugués, francés, italiano)
  Aprender sobre Geología y Medio ambiente ( soy geólogo ambiental Y Ecohidrólogo
  Y sobre audiovisuales, escribo y dirijo cortometrajes ;)

  Gestión agrícola de la MILPA, cultivo precolombino de maíz, judías, calabaza, cultivo actual de 2000m2 en el terreno
  Cuidado del huerto para autoconsumo
  Restauración de las Casas Cueva con técnicas tradicionales
  Bioconstrucción para diferentes proyectos del terreno
  Vaciar el depósito de agua de todo tipo de hierbas y sedimentos
  Plantar arboles
  Desarrollar el sistema agroforestal
  Preparar el terreno para el sistema de riego.
  Utilización de los recursos naturales( barro, cañas, fibra platanera) para hacer artesanía
  Cuidado de las gallinas

  The accommodation are cave houses, it is like a normal house only that it is inside a cave, we are renovating the rooms and you will have your own room ;) You can also do camping the land is big and beautiful
  
  El alojamiento son casas cueva, es como una casa normal solo que está dentro de una cueva ;) estamos renovando las estancias y tendrás tu propia habitación. También puedes hacer camping el terreno es grande y hermoso

  There are many hiking routes in the area, one goes through the land itself and hikers often appear ;) . The sea is 10 min away by car. There are very beautiful towns to visit, and there is always a cultural event or traditional festival in a nearby town or Las Palmas where I go often, which is 30 minutes away.
  
  Hay muchas rutas de senderismo por la zona, una pasa por el propio terreno y muchas veces aparecen senderistas ;) . El mar está a 10 min en coche. Hay pueblos muy bonitos para visitar, Y siempre hay algún evento cultural o fiesta tradicional en algún pueblo cercano o Las Palmas que está a 30min.
