  Description

  🌿 Agriturismo & Berry Farm – Looking for motivated helpers (couple or two friends)
  
  Hello!
  We run a small agriturismo in Italy with guest rooms and a berry farm (blueberries, raspberries, and other seasonal fruits).
  We are looking for two motivated people (friends or a couple) who are genuinely willing to help and be part of an active daily routine.
  This is a hands-on experience, ideal for people who enjoy staying busy and working outdoors.
  
  🍇 About the place
  Our project combines:
  a countryside agriturismo hosting guests
  a productive berry plantation
  During the main season, days can be quite active, so we are looking for people who are reliable, practical, and not afraid of physical work.
  
  🛠️ Help required
  Tasks can include:
  gardening and outdoor maintenance 🌱
  helping in the berry fields (harvesting and plant care, depending on the season)
  general help around the property to keep everything running smoothly
  👉 Tasks are varied and will be agreed together based on priorities and your skills.
  💡 We appreciate people who take initiative and like to stay productive during their helping hours.
  
  ⏰ Schedule
  4–5 hours per day
  5 days per week
  2 days off (flexible)
  Weekends are usually the busiest time for us, so availability on weekends is important.
  
  📅 Period
  Main help needed:
  June & July (high season)
  We are preferably looking for a minimum stay of 2 months.
  Shorter stays can be considered, but longer is strongly preferred.
  Quieter months:
  May, August, September

  We are a small family who lives and works on the property:
  Margaret (64) – originally from Germany, very energetic and sporty. She mainly runs the agriturismo and is the heart of the place… but also the one who keeps everything organized and will most likely be the one assigning tasks (with a smile, but yes — she’s the boss 😉)
  Emilio (84) – the “retired right-hand man”, always around and happy to lend a hand when needed
  Zen 🐶 – our dog, whose main passion is… the sofa
  Mattia (33) – engineer, passionate about kitesurfing and vanlife travel, helping out when around
  Nicola (38) – into juggling and gardening, often involved in outdoor projects
  We enjoy having people around and sharing simple daily life, while keeping a good balance between work and free time

  We are a very open family. This is a very picturesque area of Italy and offers you the chance to explore. You can learn the language, experience the culture and traditions and sample the great food. Go sightseeing, hiking, see nature.

  Aide

  We run a small agriturismo with 4 guest rooms and 2 apartments, together with a berry plantation (blueberries, raspberries, goji berries, and more).
  We are looking for someone who can help us in the mornings with general housekeeping tasks to prepare the spaces for incoming guests, as well as support with gardening and light seasonal work in the berry fields.
  Tasks are varied and practical, so we appreciate someone who is proactive, reliable, and comfortable with both indoor and outdoor activities. We provide free accommodation and ensure that all Workawayers staying with us are paid for every hour worked, at a rate that meets or exceeds the legal minimum wage in our country.

  We have a large property set within a beautiful 6-hectare park in the Ticino River Natural Park, surrounded by nature and peaceful countryside.
  
  Despite the quiet location, we are very well connected:
  just 10 minutes from Milan Malpensa Airport
  about 45 minutes by train to Milan
  around 30 minutes from Lake Orta and Lake Maggiore
  
  There are many interesting places to explore in the area, from nature to charming towns and lakes.
  We also provide city bikes that you are free to use, so you can move around and explore independently.
