Description
We are a family from Europe, we moved to Ecuador one year ago. We opened the hostel and started a new life. Ecuadorian coast is a beautiful place to be, especially our nice little village Olon.
It is a small NEW hostel with 9 rooms located in the center of Olon, Santa Elena, just 50 meters from the beautiful beach,ideal to surfing and relax. Every room has its own private bathroom with showers.
We provide clean bed sheets and towels. Free WIFI as well.
The beach is well organised and very clean. The central part of the beach has restaurants and small kiosks with excellent shade.
Your peace and tranquility can be broken only by crashing waves and the bird song from a wide variety of bird species including humming birds which are abundant in the area. Very often on the beach you can find iguanas and may occasionally spot wild horses. Tropical jungle extends down to the beach, and offers several hiking trails leading to two pretty waterfalls.

Aide
We are looking for someone to help us with guests, cleaning, and work on marketing and manager tasks (work on internet pages and promotion of our hostel). Someone who speaks Spanish and English.

New Bedroom with private bathroom, shower and all toilet necessities. The beds are new and comfy. Room equipped with fan. We provide clean bed sheets and towels, and free WiFi. Free coffee, tea, breakfast and and lunch. We are vegetarians.

Playa Olon is the best place if you want to avoid hippy scene and partying noise in Montanita. Olon is just 5 minutes drive north, bus costs only 0.50 dollars and taxi costs 1.50 dollars. So if you like partying you can go to Montanita, and you can sleep well , without noise in Olon. In Olon there are also nice restaurants and a lot things to do:
Olon has a very broad and long sandy beach with very good surf conditions that has both left and right beach breaks.

If you are lucky to have Micha as a volunteer it will give you hope for the future of mankind.
