I worked with David on his farm for 3 weeks and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. David has many different insights on various topics and we spent a lot of time debating various theories. This was my first experience working at the farm. I was glad to be hosted by David who was always cheerful and positive and learnt a lot from him and Nathan. The work can get tough on certain days but generally you rotate around with different chores each day. You are definitely well-fed here with more than enough to eat!

I enjoyed my stay there. Is a very interesting view of life and a way to change life styles for the better. It is an organic, old fashion farm. You have 3 meals a day and a lot of cheese. Breakfast start at sunrise and dinner at sunset. No TV, no radio, no bad news. Is to be away from the city. The town is a very nice Amish community. Thanks David!

A terrific experience in the rolling countryside. The work can be tough, if like myself, you're not well acquainted with manual agricultural labour but its entirely manageable providing you're healthy and the three hearty meals per day will more than replenish depleted vigour.

Truly a unique experience - but be prepared to rough it a bit! All electrical power is solar so if it's raining (which sadly it was for us most of the time) you won't really have any ability to recharge stuff (not even phones) or use wifi.

David is a character and interesting individual. The work was pretty standard farm work; weeding the garden, planting seeds and general maintenance.
