I am currently learning all about plants and herbs with the intention to teach it to my grandaughter, she is now currently 5, so a wee bit too young yet but I do have a garden full of herbs that I wish to harvest and utilise so that I can learn and teach her later

I am an Irish person living in The Netherlands, I wish to utilise my garden and learn about the plants there so that I may teach this to my grandaughter when she is old enough, for the workawayer they would receive first hand experience on how they could harvest and ustilise what they have harvested, explore the area which has lots of museums and generally experience Dutch culture first hand. The only thing I would like in return is that they help me sort my garden so that it will be more manageable for me later

I have a spare room with a bed
I stock up on food each week on a Friday, happy to share what's in my fridge with the workawayer, we can take turns in cooking, if this isn't ok then we can discuss and go froward from there -

i'm pretty flexible work wise, so up to the person how much time they will be putting in, in your off time there is a beach nearby and good connections train and bus wise so you can travel all over Holland in a day. Happy to recommend museums etc depending on what your interests are and will happily help you find stuff if needed

Bríd made me feel so welcome and couldn’t have done enough for me. She allowed me to use her museum card, showed me around Leiden, Katwijk and Rijnsburg and taught me about herbal remedies as well as Dutch culture.
