  Description

  We are a design school which envisions a world of opportunity in which all can bloom to the fullest. Our culture is such that it empowers and creates a space of learning and growth to everyone who engage.
  
  We have a paid local staff of 50 + couple more paid foreign staff whose roles range from Design Lecturing, Program Managing, Academic Administration, Sales and Marketing, Craft related production, operations, retailing etc.
  
  My role is overlooking strategy, content quality assurance and enhancement for better student experience.
  
  The project is to teach and share design knowledge during an academic semester or a year in any of the following fields: Graphic Design, Motion Graphics & Animation, Interior Design, Fashion Design

  beautiful beaches that attract surfers and Dolphin & Whale watchers, amazing hills perfect for
  hiking and a wide range of wild-life.
  
  ● It is a safe emerging market which should interest anyone trained in Design. It offers the opportunity to work in an environment where UK design degrees are delivered, while experiencing a different south asian culture and take on design.
  It provides innumerable opportunities not available in other destinations.
  
  ● Sri Lanka is rich in cultural heritage and is unique in what it can offer, with a society deeply rooted in multi-cultural local & colonial heritage, with interesting research possibilities for designers during their time in Sri Lanka, such as craft, sustainability, and high-tech apparel, consumer trends in an emerging market, as well adapting UK University curriculum to meet local and regional demands.

  We have opportunities for highly motivated individuals with experience in design, who are passionate about teaching and sharing their knowledge from their own perspective, and who will help our local staff ensure a high-quality student experience and inspire creativity. Workawayers will be able to share their expertise that would enhance the existing student experience and will be complementing the role of our current tutors and lecturers.
  
  We are specifically looking for individuals who have an exceptional track record in driving innovative and creative projects; empowered people who are innovative, aspiring, persevering and passionate about pushing boundaries in a challenging environment. Our team is inspired by a bigger vision and is committed to creating impact within our regional design culture.   Hébergement

  Accomodation is at our own guest house in Mount Lavinia, which is just by the beach!
  It's a shared kitchen and living room area. With 4 A/C bedrooms with attached bathrooms.
  A 20-30 minute commute. Cost of groceries/ food will be borne by the Workawayer who will be remunerated well above minimum wage in Sri Lanka - sufficient for food, travel and even a bit of entertainment!
