Description
We have a small holding , we keep 55+ colonels of bees for honey, we sell some honey to cover costs of feeding, cost of hive upkeep, medicine and not for profit. We breed our own Queens to further improve our bees. We have our own beef cows also for our own meat. Other animals we have are; chickens, geese and ducks for our own eggs. We also cut our own peat to heat the house in the winter time. Apart from this, we have two dogs, 4 cats, a very old goldfish and a poly tunnel to grow our veg.
In the summer time, we run bee keeping course's for beginners. We give these courses in exchange for help on our homestead. One current project that is still in the works is our geo dome. We are also breaking/training a pedigree shire horse. -

Hébergement
Spare double room in our house. All meals provided followed by the shower or bath in the house. Camping and campers are more than welcome :)

Our nearest village is 7km. Sligo is a bus ride of 20km. We have fantastic walking close by in the mountains and there are beautiful lakes to see. Check out the sligo way for more details 😀. WOULD ALL POTENTIALLY WORKAWAYS PLEASE BRING APPROPRIATE CLOTHING. After all, this is a farm stay and we can't keep every size of Wellingtons and work wear.
