  Hello,
  
  My name is Elisabeth and I am 55 years old. I have been lucky enough to live in a very beautiful 18th century house since 2015. It is my childhood home and I am restoring it little by little, but it requires a lot of work. And sometimes, I feel alone in the face of the immensity of the task.
  
  My daughter, Marie, her husband and my grandson live in Bordeaux, 1.30 hours from home. They come regularly to the house to breathe the air of the countryside.
  My property is located next to a small village, Montignac de Lauzun. 30 minutes from Bergerac (airport) and 30 minutes from Marmande.
  To get around, I can lend bikes...
  
  I speak several languages and sometimes travel to Europe for my work. I am part of different associations (Junior Chamber International, Rotary...) and I love sharing culture and simply sharing.
  After working hours (I have my office at home), I spend all my energy doing work, maintaining the garden, and on weekends, I also take care of my gîte (cleaning, maintaining the swimming pool , welcoming guests...). To rest, I take nice walks with my dog (an Australian Shepherd) and I practice yoga. I also have 1 cat and 5 chickens.
  
  In short, I don't have time to take a vacation and therefore, I want to bring the World home!!!
  
  I am a multifaceted (jack of all trades) woman but I only have 24 hours a day.
  So, if you like the countryside and if you can give me a few hours of help per day (DIY, plastering, painting, masonry, gardening, clearing brush, planting flowers or trees, making a vegetable garden, etc...), I would be very happy to welcome you under my roof. I can offer 1 bedroom and a bathroom.
  Of course, we can cook together and share our meals. I love making veal blanquette!
  
  If you prefer, you can put a tent in the beautiful garden or come with your camper van.... Then, you can relax in a magnificent 3 hectare park and watch the sunset.
  And enjoy the village's English Pub, open on weekends.

  you could help me either outside the house or inside... but of course, not all at the same time. Really step by step. By maintaining the pleasure of getting to know each other and keeping spaces of freedom and discovery of my magnificent region, the South West (land of castles, bastides and good eating)

  Hébergement

  I offer you a pretty bedroom, with a double bed (160 cm), equipped with an independent bathroom. You will naturally be able to enjoy the other rooms (already restored) of the house.
  
  If you prefer, you can sleep in a tent or come with your camper van, or other.
  
  Regarding meals, we can prepare and share them together.
  When I have time, I really like to cook French dishes. And perhaps you would like to share your specialties with me?
  
  I do major shopping once a week and buy bread at the small village grocery store (1.5 km).
  I go and get my vegetables from an farm "Bio". I eat meat, I prefer to specify that.

  During your free time, the house is located 1.5 km from the Montignac village of Lauzun, 10 km from Miramont de Guyenne and Lauzun, 30 km from Bergerac (airport and train station) and Marmande (station), and 1h30 from Bordeaux.
  Less than 30 km away, there are numerous bastides or castles.
  On site, you can take beautiful walks. There are farmers markets, festivals and lots of good things to eat.
  In the village, an English Pub offers music on weekends.
  I can lend you bikes; you have to have good calves.
  Depending on my schedule, I can come/drop off at Bergerac or Marmande station.
  You can also simply relax on the deckchairs, play Molkky or darts...
  I have many books in French at your disposal.
  A few rules must be respected: my office hours, the tranquility of the guests of the cottage, and my sleeping hours!
