  Description

  My name is Mariela, I live in a family land owned since 1987. We live here with my uncle, with dogs, cats, chickens. We love this place because its safe, lush, and peaceful. It is 1 hour away from the capital by public transport, near local traditional villages where u can get all what u need as well. I lived 7 years abroad in Germany, Cambodia, Vietnam, The Netherlands and Mexico, and since 2018 I moved into the countryside. I speak Spanish, English, Germand and a bit of Dutch, Im vegetarian, love to ferment food, practice a zero waste lifestyle, love hiking and practice yoga. I work for an international NGO on advocacy and environmental justice. Ideally we could set up a community style neighbourhood in the future. I welcome enthusiastic people, with whom I share positive vibes!

  We can hike together in central Chile, recognizing birds and hills, we could bivouac or use tents in Los Andes. We can cycle around and visit unique places with history and local heritage (Pomaire, wine production valleys, wetlands, etc). We can enjoy of my family & friends gatherings. We can cook local dishes, ferment food, and improvise tasty and yummy meals with fresh fruits and vegetables from our fertile lands. We can also practice yoga together.

  Aide

  For this big space (3,000 square meters) we need help for setting up a vegetable home garden and its watering system, painting fences and poles, maintaining the garden around the swimming pool, and doing some renovations. As always we need to organize garden work, woodfuel, feed chickens, etc.
  We can prepare lunch together.

  Hébergement

  I have a room with a desk, double bed, wardrobe. A toilet with a shower to be shared during the day only, as I have my own bathroom upstairs, and a fully furnished house. Some days we can cook together, some others u will have to prepare your own food with things available in the fridge (Im vegetarian, I prefer people that will not be cooking meat often). I live with 2 cats inside the house.

  The land is not in town, but I go to the gym with the car, and we could go together in my car. U can borrow my bicycle as well. I stand up at 6.30 and go to sleep at 22.30 more or less. I do have an active lifestyle, I like to respect spaces and schedules. Some days I wont be at home. I love to share a space where we can have a very nice atmosphere, friendship and support. You will be working alone sometimes, or with me or my uncle.
