We are a hostel in the heart of San Agustin, with an social relaxing vibe. We always can use some help to improve and preserve the quality of our lovely place and keep its great atmosphere.

Our travelers will have the opportunity to see from inside how is to run a hostel, and have the opportunity to meet people of all around the globe in a really good atmosphere. Most of our guest speak spanish so this is a great opportunity to learn some.

Help is needed - Great opportunity to learn to run a hostel, doing artistic projects and enjoy a great social experience - Priority Long term volunteering.
The help is going to be a bit of everything depending on of what must be done, the volunteers will need to do some: reception stuff and attend our guests ( Talk and have some fun with the guests making them feel welcomed and happy in the hostel).
Other than that, we also need people with good hands to do some small maintenance work, paint, draw, build furniture with recyclable material. So, long story short general help to run a small and great hostel.
People with creative knowledge for construction stuff will be of a great help!
You will work closely with our 4 lovely receptionist / cleaning ladies which speak only Spanish , thus a great opportunity to practice your Spanish while doing your volunteering .

Hébergement
The accommodation will be a bed in dorms with shared bathroom. The hostel has very nice hot water, kitchen where to cook, good wifi, and an amazing terrace with great views.

San Agustin is a very interesting location in Colombia with a lot of history and activities to do, we have one bicycle that they can take to explore the surrounding area and depending on the number of guests the volunteer manages to get, they may have some free tours and others with discounts!!!

Intentó hacer las cosas bien pero no le resultó y al final su actitud no ayudó mucho dejando abandonado el lugar dos horas antes de su turno haciendo que nos tuviéramos que reorganizar con tan poco tiempo. Nuestro paso fue super variado. Desde tareas artísticas y construcción, hasta recepción en el hostal.
Estamos muy agradecidos por la libertad a la hora de proponer ideas y de crear.
Nadav y su familia nos hicieron sentir en casa. Estamos muy contentos por nuestro tiempo y sabemos que es un lugar donde siempre podremos regresar.

Disfrute de unos 15 días geniales en San Agustín y gran parte se lo debo a Nadav y su familia. Pude ayudarlos en su hermoso hostel y en su casa y fue muy divertido y relajado. Espero que los arbolitos estén bien!

Nadav y su esposa han sido grandes anfitriones, siempre muy amables y bien predispuestos. Trabajamos durante dos semanas en la decoración de su hostal y vivienda, siempre con mucha libertad.. agradecemos esta experiencia tan linda y esperamos verlos pronto en alguna parte del mundo. Gracias!!

Paula and I stayed in this hostel with great pleasure! It was a challenge for us to build a shower cabin made of bamboo, but we loved the work and we are very proud of the results. The hosts were all so nice and welcoming! The hostel is a great place with a very nice atmosfere. It has been really nice to work and stay here!

La experiencia que tuve con Thibaud fue estupenda, me colaboro muchisimo, y fue de gran ayuda. Lo apreciamos mucho y despues de las 3 semanas que estuvo en hostal creamos un vinculo de muy buena amistad. Por hostal lo extrañamos y deseamos que tenga la oportuniodad de regesar pronto!

Gran experiencia! pasé tres semanas y me quería quedar más!
Gerard y Navad son excelentes personas, además de que Martha y Paola que son súper amigables. La atmósfera del hostal es relajada y los habitantes de San Agustín son bastante amables. Volvería sin dudarlo!

Rocio nos ayudo muchísimo en todo momento en el hostal, es una persona fantástica con ganas de ayudar y aprender en todo lo que se pueda. Recomiendo totalmente a Rocio, estuvo 3 semanas con nosotros ayudándonos y ojala hubiesen sido 3 meses. Gracias y buen viaje Rocio.

Paco and Manuel were THE BEST volunteers one could ask for!!
They are super helpful, knowledgeable, social and open-minded.
They were more than amazing helping us with things concerning construction and maintenance.

Excellent is not enogh to say how good wast to have Etianne in my hostel helping out to develop our website, he was very good worker, with very high skills in his area. We enjoyed SO MUCH helping this guys! Hofit, Nadav and Gerard are thé Best host ever! They are really relax, helpfull, funny and fun people! Moreover the breakfast is really goooood. Diane and Vincent are the BEST a host can ask for. They are both social, friendly, outgoing, creative, and helpfull. The did amazing job helping in maintance , painting and cleaning. Furthermore, they did much more than they were asked for!
