Description
I am an elderly lady who lives alone on the island Dønna .My house is located close to the sea. I have 4 wery active sleddogs (Samojed) and husky who need a lot of training ). That`s why I prefer fysically strong volunteers. But I also need help in the house, as well as in the garden and with painting work.
I offer traditional norwegian food and I have a own room for you.
I speak litle English. it would be an advantage if you speak a little Norwegian. I have bike you can borrow if you want.

On the time off you can go sightseeing among our thousands of islands. You can go watching historical places. You can do fishing, climbing mountains or take photos. We have a bike for you.
The Helgeland coast with more than 20.000 small and large islands is excellent for an active holiday, where you come close to a rich animal and bird life.

It was really pleasant to work with Jana. She is mature and responsible and did an excellent job. She painted outdoors a lot and afterwards she could go on mountain walks. One trip is over 800 meters high.

I had such a good time :-) Really enjoyed spending time on Donna with Saulvag and her lovely dogs. I painted the house and explored the area - which is beautiful. Saulvag is lovely and funny, although we had somtimes trouble with communication (we used German, Norwegian & English :-D) we connected very very good :)

Julia was with us for a couple of weeks this summer. She is a strong person who, among other things, drove single in the air yard for the dogs.
