Hi everyone 🌸
We are a grassroots NGO working with people on the move. Our solution is to build resilience and autonomy in order to break the cycle of dependency.
Our structure and network provides support to displaced people by helping them become autonomous and self-reliant once again!
In Kos town, supports refugees who are making their first steps into Greek society.
We do this by providing the following services:
- Monthly dry food and hygiene packs from the FreeShop
- Deliveries of food and hygiene products around the island
- Help Desk that supports refugees in finding accommodation, employment, and help accessing education and healthcare
- Job placement program
- Language classes
- A safe and clean community space
- Community activities -

In our Community Centre people from all over the world come together. We have had volunteers so far from 16 different countries, and we work with people who are from many more. You will certainly meet many people from many cultures, and you can improve several language skills.
You will become part of a wonderful team and learn about how a grassroots organisation works. -

We are looking for help for the daily routines in our CommunityCentre. Other than that, it is up to you what you would like to get involved in: Teaching English? Building things for the hub? Children's activities? Creative projects? Social Media?...

We have a small studio for each member of the team. All the studios have a room, living room, kitchen and toilet.
Every team member is responsible for its own food. However we do sometimes enjoy spending the evenings together and go to a restaurant or cook together. -
