They could learn about organic farming and all the processes involved in growing vegetables and garden maintenance.
They could also learn a lot about portuguese culture and language as most workers are from nearby.

We always need help with agriculture and gardening jobs.
Occasionally we also need help in the catering of the retreats we do here and reception of our guests;

We have a big house with 3 big rooms and bathroom with hot shower, sharing with other international volunteers.

The farm is near the lake, where you can swim in very clean water.
You can also go hiking and there is daily bus (from monday to friday) to Tomar which is also a lovely city to explore.

The food, the place and the people obviously were amazing! The work is pretty much fair and it was very interesting to get to know the whole "planting process": planting, weeding, collecting etc. As they take very good care of you, they can explain you loads of stuff about organic… read more
the farm is big and for this reason can host a lot of people.. that mean stay with a lot of other volunteer..
the work is not too hard , and if you have same project and great ideas to develop this is the place for you!!
