I’m grateful to live on D’harawal land.
I rent in town in Kangaroo Valley (about 2 hours out of Sydney). Gorgeous place and lovely people.
There are lots of birds and animals around, including some who are forever friends for me (4 inside birds and 2 ducks).
I would love a hand with making my house a home - the smell of cooking, sounds of talk and laughter, music playing etc.
I am an outside person and I work as a horticulturalist (aka gardener). I am obsessed with plants but still know so little about them!
There are a number of home projects to help with that are hands on: eg building bamboo fencing from fresh bamboo + working on outside duck coop.
Always plenty of weeding and nature work at my place ☺️
All the animals (sans the wild ones) are rescues. I usually let the inside birds fly around the house for a couple of hours per day. They’ll jump on your shoulder and follow you around once they get to know you. They’re all very sweet and are more equals with me than pets. I care deeply about all animals and know more than most about many of them, particularly the more common species in NSW.
I’m studying first year university chemistry (online). Going through the questions and formulas with someone more experienced would be unreal.

Life is pretty chill when you take a step back and look. I hope that anyone who visits would leave a little bit more fulfilled and with a wider perspective than when they arrived. I also make friends for life 😊
