Description
We are Lea-Anne and Andrew from Scotland and have been living in Spain for 3 years now. We both have a hospitality background and now have a rental on our property here in Andalusia. It is a very quirky circus wagon which we have spent our first year in Spain renovating. We would now like to focus time on our own house, one of the oldest in the area, as it requires some updating and tlc. We would like some help to achieve this inside and outside and in the garden. It would be great for us to share our little place of paradise in the Andalusian mountains and to do some basic house and garden renovations in the sunshine together. In return we offer our Scottish hospitality, sense of humour, good food and Andrews bad taste in music. Our family here includes our 5 dogs and 2 cats, so any animal lover is more than welcome.

We do have some specific dates available between April - July. Within these dates and the possibility of a day before or after.

Our Casa is situated in the mountains of the campo 20 minutes northeast of the historic ‘Pueblo Blanco’ of Alora, an area of rich, cultural and historical significance within an area of natural beauty. A simple 50 minutes from Malaga airport and the famous beaches of the Costa del Sol.

On days off we recommend a visit to all the nearby historical and geographic wonders of the area such as El Chorro and the Caminito del Rey and El Torcal de Antequera. We will share all of our experiences with you to give you an opportunity and knowledge to explore some of the fantastic walking and hiking routes. We will help arrange public transport and provide you with a picnic on these days.

DIY projects - small concreting area, walls, paving areas

Maintenance inside and outside - painting, cleaning

The help we require will be in our family home and garden only.

Hébergement
You will have a personal, private bedroom with a double bed. It is on the lower floor of our house with its own direct access to the garden and pool. This gives you your own private bedroom, living area and bathroom and plenty of peace! (Shared bathroom if 2 Workawayers)
The only access we will require will be occasional access to the laundry facilities in the bathroom on that floor.

All meals are provided and would typically consist of -
Breakfast - cereal, yogurts, breads, fruit
Light Lunches - salads, sandwiches, fruit
Dinner - We will provide a cooked evening meal, we do like to bbq and you are welcome to join us, if you want, and of course a wine or beer will be included. After all we are Scottish!

There are also many private areas and patios for relaxing, eating breakfast, sunbathing and making TikToks or just taking in the hillside views.

We have a great pool which you can use on hot summer days. On site we have a rental accommodation and we do prioritise the pool for our guests during these times, even for ourselves, but when they are not using it, you are more than welcome to dive right in.

Time off - as we are located 15 minutes drive away from the nearest town and amenities so we are more than happy to give you a lift to the local town / train station on days off or when we can.
