Description
Our property is in the beautiful Otaki gorge, surrounded by bush and overlooking the river. The property is organic and we live a chemical free, natural life. I am a herbalist and am currently setting up a herbal healing garden and retreat cottage. I would love to have some help finishing some building and other creative projects around the property.

Nature and plants are a big part of our life and you will have an opportunity to be in a natural environment where all life forms are the teachers.

Aide
Various eco-projects around the property, mostly involving building, plumbing and being creative with recycled materials. The renovation of a Cottage into a Herbal retreat is the main current project including the creation of a composting toilet and the development a Medicinal Herbal garden. Other projects include; painting, setting up an outdoor bath, building an earth pizza oven, pond dig, bridge build and landscape, track development, Sub-tropical food forest planting, weed control and having fun!

Activities in the area include; tramping, kayaking, swimming in the river. The community holds; art spaces, retreats, natural living and survival skill learning opportunities.

Dorian spent a few weeks there, I joined him for a few days and we both had a great time.
Ali cooked delicious meals for us and she was always super helpful with everything (driving us around, helping me get a violin…).
