Description
We live on the East coast of Ireland near the sea. We are a couple with 3 grown up children. We love gardening and I also love caring for my bees. We grow organic fruit and vegetables for home use and we also produce pure natural honey. We love to host open minded students who have a sense of humour and a positive attitude :-) Helping includes garden maintenance; composting, weeding, but mainly honey production. While helping, you will learn the skills of organic food production and the art of beekeeping.
We require help during spring, summer and autumn. I've got all the equipment and clothing you will need.
You will need one set of old working clothes.
Accommodation is your own room in the family home. You can cook if you wish but normally everybody eats together and we have WiFi.
As well as producing fruit, vegetables and "liquid gold", we also enjoy painting, photography, football, video games, fishing, boating, social dancing and of course, fruit, veg. and flower gardening.Types d'aide et opportunités d'apprendre
