We are a family of 3 living at the area 10 min. (by train) from Tokyo station.
Need help with housekeeping like cooking, and to care our child ( 8 yo now 22, Sep. 2024 ).

Our house is at central Tokyo so it's easy to access to all famous areas.
While our area is central Tokyo, it retains much of its traditional charm, so you can find much more interesting spots/things than normal tourist.

We need you to help in housekeeping like cook a dinner.

Hébergement
You'll have a private japanese room at 2nd floor, share a living room, kitchen and bathroom with us.
Workawayers can have 3 meals par day with us or themselves (as they like) but you have to manage to prepare your lunch by yourself, thank you.

NON-smoker ONLY, and we DO NOT accommodate a couple workawayers.
We have 2 cats.
And we don't need a person who can't read Hiragana and Katakana.

Right off the bat, I have to say that this workaway looked more like a homestay/au pair situation than a purely volunteer job. You are really living with the family, being part of it; it is a great opportunity to experience real Japanese life!

I lived with them for two months, doing interesting DIY stuff and teaching French to Askä (who is really good at it), and I loved it. Good meals were provided and I had my own room. Askä's soon is so cute and kind and it's so pleasant to see him again after 9 months !

わが家はまだ出来たてなので、ドアや窓の防犯柵、ソファなどいろいろなモノを器用に作ってくれました。
子どもにも優しく、息子は将来バル（彼の呼び名）になるのが夢になりました。
ほんとにありがとう！また来てほしいな～。
Il y a déjà 6 mois quand il était chez nous, il a fait beaucoup de choses pour nous.
On a juste construit notre maison l'annee derniere, on a toujours beaucoup de choses a faire pour la maison.

彼女がプロフィールに書いてあることはかなり控えめで、書いてある以上の結果が得られて、私は「控えめすぎるんじゃない？」と言ったほどです。
そしてそんないろいろなスキルだけでなく、こちらが言わなくてもさりげなく色々なお手伝いをしてくれて、そしていつもニコニコ笑っていて、本当はもっといて欲しかった。。。
ちなみにうちの息子は、将来ノエミと結婚するとだいぶ早い段階で心に決めたようでしたｗ
本当にいろいろ、たくさん、ありがとう！早くまた会いたい。カナダに会いに行くね！
