Description
We are a family of 4 - mum (31), dad (37), and 2 boys (1 and nearly 3). We are a busy family, with both parents working full time. I (Lisa) currently work from home but will be returning to the office in January. Our eldest boy goes to daycare 3 days a week and the youngest stays home with me, but in January they will both be going to daycare.
We live on a large sheep and beef farm on the coast in Paihia, Bay of Islands. This role is not involved in the farming operation at all.
We are surrounded by beautiful sandy beaches, things to do and explore (kayaking, mountain biking, golf, walks, watersports, island hoping, fishing, vineyards and more). Over the summer period Paihia becomes a real tourist hotpsot with local markets and events regularly. Kerikeri is a larger town with most of the things you would need, just 30 minutes away. We love seeing people enjoying our backyard as much as we do.

We live in Paihia, a vibrant tourist town in the stunning Bay of Islands. During summer, the atmosphere is buzzing with energy, and there's no shortage of things to see and do.
Right on our doorstep, you’ll find:
Waitangi Mountain Bike Park – packed with exciting trails for all skill levels
Waitangi Golf Course – with breathtaking views over the ocean
Waitangi Treaty Grounds – a must-visit for anyone interested in New Zealand’s rich heritage

Aide
We are looking for help around the house, looking after the kids (while I work from home), cooking, light housework (vacuuming, washing, dishwasher, cleaning bathroom, tidying up kids toys, etc), maybe some light gardening or lawns if that interests you (not required).

We are 5-10 minutes drive from Paihia.
We have a room available in our house. We have a large 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 2 storey house. Our family occupys the 3 bedrooms upstairs with our own bathroom. The workawayer would have a room downstairs with a bathroom mostly to themselves, it is the main bathroom if other people come to the house or if we have friends staying. The room will have a queen bed, single wardrobe, potentially with a TV.
We will provide food for breakfast and lunch and share dinner together. We eat balanced family meals for dinner as the kids eat the same food as us. We would love to eat together with the workawayer, ideally with some help in preparing. Even better if you love cooking.
