Description
My wife Jeanette is a ceramic artist and I (Jan ) work as a sculptor in marble. Last year we finished a 3 year rebuilding program and now we have to maintain the buildings and garden.
Our place is near Ostuni, Puglia Italia. It covers 2 hectares of olive trees and fruit trees, some of the olive trees are more than 800 years old. The premiums consist of two buildings: a guest house in an olive mill and a converted stable being our villa. Underneath the guest house, there is a cave in which we have our ateliers. The Masseria is from the 16th century.

We are located in a National Parc ( Parco Naturale) and we do respect their principles and like to invite workawayers who can contribute to maintaining the landscape according to the strict regulations.
In our atelier, you have the opportunity to learn the skills of ceramics as well as the basic skill of sculpturing.
Aide
As of last week of January till end of February 2026 we need house-sitters to take care of our dogs.
During the months of March and April we plan to do some repainting of the buildings.
End of May and till mid of June we are invited with friends and during this period we are looking for house sitters taking also care of our dogs.
The harvest of olives is due in October /November and we need ample support. We handpick the olives as early as possible thus having the best quality of olive oil.
As of last week of January till end of February 2027 we need house-sitters to take care of our dogs.

Hébergement
Your accommodation will be in the guest house. It comprises 3 small apartments and one shared kitchen. we anticipate that during house-sitting activities the guest house will be in use.

We are 3 kilometers from the coast. The beaches of Puglia are famous and the popular holiday destination for Italians. Places like Ostuni are very ancient citadel shape cities, you will find the historical remains of all different occupiers in the past. We have bikes for shopping and pleasure.
