Description
We bought this property in early 2021 and our intention is to make it a place for family, friends, and artists in residence. My wife Jeanette is a ceramic artist and I (Jan ) work as a sculptor in marble.
Our place is near Ostuni, Puglia Italia. It covers 1 hectare of olive trees and fruit trees, some of the olive trees are more than 800 years old. The premiums consist of two buildings: a guest house in an olive mill and a converted stable being our villa. Underneath the guest house, there is a cave in which we have our ateliers. The buildings are from the 16th century.

We are located in a National Parc ( Parco Naturale) and we do respect their principles and like to invite workawayers who can contribute to maintaining the landscape according to the strict regulations.
In our atelier, you have the opportunity to learn the skills of ceramics as well as the basic skill of sculpturing.

We need gardeners to fight the weeds during the spring and maintain the fruit and olive trees.
We welcome a Yoga teacher, also we very much like to hoist a vegan chef, perhaps the combi?
In September and October, we will have artists in residence and for workaways, we like their supporting activities.
As of the third week of October and during the first half of November, the harvest of olives is due and we need ample support.
During the winter we need house-sitters to take care of our dogs.

Hébergement
Your accommodation will be in the guest house. It comprises 3 small apartments and one shared kitchen. we anticipate that during house-sitting activities the guest house will be in use.

We are 3 kilometers from the coast. The beaches of Puglia are famous and the popular holiday destination for Italians. Places like Ostuni are very ancient citadel shape cities, you will find the historical remains of all different occupiers in the past. We have bikes for shopping and pleasure.
