  Description

  English:
  This is a family and neighbourhood finca at the foot of the Sierra Nevada and close to the city of Granada. It belongs to Monachil, a picturesque village in the south of Spain, which is divided by a river. We live in La Solana near "los cahorros", a wonderful natural canyon.
  
  In our beautiful place there are fruit trees from which we feed ourselves and make preserves: there are cherry trees, fig trees, loquat trees, pomegranate trees, apple trees, plum trees. There are also vines, blackberries and other cultivated shrubs. The vegetable garden is sufficient for our food, although we don't eat a hundred percent from the garden, but at the same time there is always something we can harvest.
  
  Besides plants and four humans, cats, a dog and chickens live here... and more creatures that you will meet. I, Laura, came here 15 years ago with my family, and then a few years ago Daphne and Giussepe arrived.
  
  Our intention is to live in a simple and pleasant way, as much in harmony with the environment as possible, taking care of ourselves. It nourishes us to live among other beings and to be as little harmful as possible to them. We love permaculture and naturalism.
  
  We have three dwellings, a bioconstruction house, a bioconstruction cabin and a caravan. Each house has its own intimacy, as we share our daily life, we also like to have our intimacy.
  
  If you want to learn what it is to live basic, in community and close to nature, in chalanging situations, like drought and our current economic state of the world, then this place is for you!

  Somos una finca familiar y vecinal a los pies de Sierra Nevada y cerca de la ciudad de Granada, pertenece a Monachil, un pueblo pintoresco del sur de España, al cual cruza un río. Vivimos en la solana cerca de "los cahorros", un cañón natural maravilloso.
  
  En este hermoso lugar hay árboles frutales de los que nos alimentamos y hacemos conservas, hay cerezos, higueras, nísperos, granados, manzanos, ciruelos...membrillos. También hay parras, zarzamoras, y otros arbustos de cultivo. El huerto es suficiente para aportar a nuestra alimentación, no comemos cien por cien de la huerta y a la vez siempre hay algo que podemos cosechar.
  
  Además de plantas y cuatro humanos viven aquí gatos, una perra y gallinas...y más seres que conocerás. Yo, Laura, llegué hace 15 años a este lugar con mi familia, y luego llegaron Daphne y Giussepe.
  
  Nuestra intención es vivir de forma sencilla y agradable, lo mas en armonía con el medio, cuidando y cuidándonos. Nos nutre vivir entre otros seres y ser lo menos perjudicial posible para ellos. Nos encanta la permacultura y el naturalismo.
  
  Tenemos tres viviendas, una casa de bioconstrucción, una cabaña bioconstrucción y una caravana. Cada vivienda tiene su intimidad, pues al igual que compartimos el dia a dia tambien nos gusta la intimidad.
  
  Si quieres aprender lo que es vivir de forma básica, en comunidad y cerca de la naturaleza, en situaciones cambiantes, como la sequía y nuestra actual situación económica mundial, ¡este lugar es para ti!

  English:
  We understand the value of a volunteer, two of us did wwoofing in Spain. We love the idea of exchanging knowledge.
  
  We offer:
  -Accommodation and food.
  -Sharing experiences and knowledge.
  -We practice yoga, meditations with the moon, massages and atresanal activities and we are also very skilled in cooking.
  -We speak Spanish, English, Dutch and Italian.

  Entendemos el valor de un volentario, dos de nosotros hicimos wwoofing en España. Nos encanta la idea de intercambiar conocimientos.
  
  Ofrecemos:
  -Un alojamiento y comida.
  -Compartir experiencias y conocimientos.
  -Practicamos yoga, meditaciones con la luna, masajes y activades atresanales y también somos muy hábiles en la cocina.
  -Hablamos Espanol, Ingles, Holandes e Italiano

  Aide

  English:
  We are looking for people who can help us and share, we like to learn from each other and motivate each other, enjoy meeting and living together.
  
  Now we want to focus on:
  -Improving the infrastructures and building new ones (bathroom and workshop). Everything is made of wood, earth and straw. We also like to recycle what was used before, to keep our footprint on this world small.
  -Preparing the field and sowing for the next season.
  
  We are very happy to be able to share our little big ecosystem with people from all over the world. We love the idea of exchanging knowledge, so if you know more about bioconstruction or permaculture, don't hesitate to help us.
  
  We feel very grateful that you are interested in coming!
  
  Times:
  - We aim to collaborate 4 hours per day, 5 days per week. You will be free on thursday and sunday, although this can be discussed.
  - You will have breakfast in your caravan, we lunch together and dinner is at a whim, you prepare it yourself in th caravan or we join forces, depending on our schedule.
  - We are looking for people who stay more or less 2 weeks.

  Buscamos a personas que puedan ayudarnos y compartir, aprender mutuamente y motivarnos, disfrutar del encuentro y la convivencia.
  
  Ahora queremos enfocarnos en:
  -Mejorar las infractucturas y construir nuevas (baño y taller). Todo es de madera, tierra y paja. También nos gusta reciclar lo que se utilizaba antes, para mantener pequeña nuestra huella en este mundo.
  -Preparar el campo para la siembra de la proxima estacion.
  
  Estamos muy contentas de poder compartir con personas de todo el mundo nuestro pequeño gran ecosistema. Nos encanta la idea de intercambiar conocimientos, asi que sabes más sobre bioconstruccion o permacultura, no dudes en ayudarnos.
  
  Nos sentimos muy agradecidas por que esteis interesadas en venir!
  
  Horarios:
  - Nuestro objetivo es colaborar 4 horas por dia, 5 dias por semana.
  - Buscamos a personas que se quedan mas o menos 2 semanas.

  Hébergement

  English:
  There is a caravan where you will stay, there is everything you need to be comfortable, a double bed, water, kitchen and heating and because of a new roof there is a covered outside place with kitchen. Each house has its own privacy, because as well as sharing the day to day life we also like privacy. There is also the possibility to stay in your own tent under the cherry trees. The shower is in the house and we use a dry toilet at the end of the field.
  
  Hay una caravana que es donde te quedaras alojada, hay todo lo necesario en ella para que estes agusto, una cama doble, agua, cocina y calefaccion y un techado nuevo, así tambien hay cosina afuera. Cada vivienda tiene su intimidad, pues al igual que compartimos el dia a dia tambien nos gusta la intimidad. Tambien hay la posibilidad de quedarte en tu tienda de campaña, abajo los cerezos. La ducha está en la casa y utilizamos un bater seco al final del campo.

  To get to the village you have many possibilities, almost always there is a neighbour who comes down. You can come by car, bike or walking, then it takes 30 minutes. To go to the beautiful city of Granada there are buses every hour. The beach is 45 minutes away by car. This place offers you the possibility to enjoy hiking or mountainbike routes, paragliding and climbing, almost directly from our land. And ofcourse experience the original Andalucian way of living, art and culture. We have many flamenco lovers and practitioners in the village.
  
  Para ir al pueblo tienes muchas posibilidades, casi siempre hay una vecina que baja, o en vici o andando son 30 minutos. Para ir a Granada hay autobuses cada hora. La playa está en 45 minutos de distancia con coche. Este lugar te ofresa la posibilidad de disfrutar de rutas de senderismo o mountainbike, parapente y escalada. Y tambien experiencar. Y, por supuesto, experimentar la forma de vida original de Andalucía, el arte y la cultura. Tenemos muchos amantes y practicantes del flamenco en el pueblo.
