  Description

  Our hotel has been a part of the island’s history for decades. It was built by the owner’s family and continues to be family run today, carrying forward the tradition of warm hospitality and personal connection that the island is known for. The relaxed atmosphere and stunning views of the Caribbean Sea and St. Kitts, along with the genuine welcoming vibe from hotel staff makes guests feel at home.
  
  The island of Nevis is a hidden gem in the Caribbean. It’s small, safe and friendly – you’ll find quiet beaches, hiking trails, historic sugar mills and a vibrant local culture. That being said, life here is slower, more connected and full of opportunities to meet people from all walks of life.
  
  As a Workawayer, you’ll be welcome to our hotel family and work alongside the owner, who oversees the hotel, continuing her family’s legacy and the Hotel Manager, who keeps daily operations running smoothly.
  
  Our front desk staff are always ready with a smile and local tips for travel and visits. Restaurant leadership consists of a Food & Beverage Manager, Restaurant Manger and Head Chef. Our kitchen team and restaurant staff bring positive energy and provide friendly service to our guests.
  
  We have a small grounds and maintenance crew that rounds out our little family and keep the hotel looking its best and operating efficently - this is where you will support!
  
  Everyone here takes pride in the hotel and the island, and you’ll be welcomed as part of the team from the start.

  Our hotel and Nevis is a small community, you’ll be a welcome art of both. There will be opportunities to take part in local events, connect with our team and enjoy downtime – hiking, at the beach or building connections with the team.
  We are happy to share our knowledge of Caribbean hospitality, ingredients and island life. In return, we look forward to learning from you – your background, your culture and ideas.

  Aide

  We are looking for an handyperson to join our team. You are not only friendly, but also motivated and take initiative to complete tasks as they arise. You should be comfortable with plumbing and other odd trades oriented jobs, and do so with a high attention to detail and accountability. You adapt well to change, often getting last minute and unexpected tasks. Along with any electrical and plumbing tasks that arise, you may be asked to assist in other areas around our hotel as needed.

  Our workplace is primarily English-speaking, but several team members—including our hotel manager—are fluent in Spanish, which is a great asset. We love the opportunity to learn new languages from Workawayers and share a bit of ours in return.

  Hébergement

  Workawayers will stay in out hotel accommodations, offering a clean, comfortable and secure place to rest after the days activiites. We provide three meal per day. Laundry facilities are available on-site, and staff are welcome to use the hotel’s gym and pool facilities during their stay. You’ll also have free access to our weekly wellness classes, including yoga, pilates, water aerobics, and zumba.

  On your days off, there’s plenty to explore on Nevis. We have plenty of quiet beaches, the opportunity to hike up Nevis Peak for incredible views, or you can wander through historic sugar mill ruins. The island is small, so it’s easy to get around by local taxi or rental car. We’re happy to share tips on the best spots to see.
  
  As for house rules, we like to keep things simple: respect the space, be considerate of others, and please note that pets are not allowed in hotel rooms.
