  Description

  I’m a chef living in the south of Tenerife, in a quiet town near the beach. The island has a great mix — beaches, forests, volcanoes, and a good social vibe too.
  
  I’m working on a 3-minute storytelling reel about my food journey. The script is written, most visuals are ready — now I’m looking for someone with a strong editing eye to help bring it together.
  
  For me, it’s important to sync the words with meaningful imagery and rhythm — to express something honest and clear. The reel will be used to attract work in a niche, health-focused, modern food space, so it needs to feel well-crafted.
  
  You’ll need a pretty modern editing setup — something that can handle video editing, voiceover syncing, photo tuning, and general creative flow. Whether it’s Premiere Pro, DaVinci, or another tool you trust, as long as it runs smoothly and can deliver a polished finish, we’re good. My laptop’s a bit behind the times, so I’ll be relying on your tools as much as your eye.
  
  In return, I’m offering a peaceful place to stay, good food, and the chance to co-create something real in a sunny part of the world.

  I live alone, so this won’t be a busy household or group setup — but I’m always up for good conversation, sharing meals, and creative exchange. If we click, I’m happy to show you around a bit or recommend great local spots. I’m a professional chef and love talking about food, wellbeing, and how different cultures approach both — so there’s a lot I’d be glad to share there.

  This is a personal, creative collaboration. I’m a chef creating a 3-minute storytelling reel to express my food philosophy and support future job opportunities and aligned collaborations.
  
  The script is written, and most of the imagery is already selected. The voiceover will be recorded during the process, and there’s a strong foundation in place — but I’m looking for a video editor with a professional eye to help shape the visual story, tune some of the footage, and ensure the rhythm between voice, image, and music feels just right.

  Sharing your creative approach — how you’d tie it all together

  Some of the visuals will need fine-tuning, and I’m open to discussing the best workflow — so you have time to create without pressure, and also enjoy the beach and the island while you’re here. I don’t have a fixed number of hours per day — it’s more about doing it well, with space to breathe.

  You’ll have a clean and comfortable bed in the kitchen area, which is a quiet, separate part of the house with natural light and its own feel. It’s not a closed-off bedroom, but it’s private — just the two of us in the home, so the space stays peaceful and laid-back.
  
  The house is simple, cosy, and close to nature, with everything you need to feel at ease. We also have our own terrace space on our side of the shared rooftop — a nice spot to relax in the sun or take a break.
  
  I’ll be cooking and providing the meals, happy to work around your tastes. I’ll also take care of the cleaning, so you can settle in and focus on the creative side.

  I live in a small town near the beach, so there’s plenty to enjoy during your free time — swimming, coastal walks, local cafes, or just relaxing in the sun. Tenerife has a lot of different landscapes packed into one island, and there’s a good local bus system if you want to explore further. I don’t have a car myself, but getting around is still doable with a bit of planning.
  
  Life here is pretty relaxed. No strict house rules — just mutual respect, a clean shared space, and open communication. If we’re both easygoing and clear with each other, everything flows well.

  If you’re a digital nomad, this could work well as a short creative stop — the Wi-Fi is reliable, and you’ll have space and quiet to focus. Since this is a one-off project with flexible hours, we can easily chat about a rhythm that works for both of us. As long as we keep communication open and the work flows steadily, you’ll still have time to manage other light commitments or just enjoy the island in between.

  Just a heads-up: my neighbour’s dog often roams freely on our side of the shared rooftop terrace. It’s not my dog, but it has a calm and friendly nature, and is trained not to come into the house.
