  Description

  We have been living in this house on the cliffs for over twenty years but there is always something needing attention as well as all the creative plans I enjoy working on when not in the busy season.
  Here we specialise in cultural and culinary guided tours and classes for groups during the summer and the rest of the time we do home improvements and projects to enhance our quality of life and that of our land. Over that time we have slowly and lovingly restored the main house and barns, taking pride in doing much of the work ourselves, resulting in a relaxed and informal place to spend time and welcome all.
  It is an ideal place to relax in but never being far from what the area around has to offer.

  Loving where we live, I enjoy sharing the richness of the area and can show you around or introduce you to places and people that may be of interest to you.
  I am a trained chef and give cooking lessons during the summer to groups of foreign visitors , in the winter I work with willow, hazel and natural fibres.
  You would be provided with three meals a day generally cooked together and your own accommodation in a cabin in the woods or in the family home if preferred. Suited for a pair or single person that enjoys the outdoors, nature, creative schemes and might like to learn French at the same time.

  Aide

  An extra pair of hands and enthusiasm is always welcome here . The stay would suit a single traveler or a couple that enjoy the outdoors, food, gardens and being creative. The main jobs will involve light gardening, sculpting, weaving and wood chopping / clearing as well as cooking using local products bought from the many fantastic local markets. The work will be an average of 5 hours a day with weekends free, allowing you to discover our area and relax in this beautiful peaceful place.

  We live in the heart of the south west of France, an area rich in historical culture. The surrounding villages and towns are filled with sporting activities such as walks, canoeing, rock climbing. We are five minutes away from a dynamic young and creative village with many associations both sporting and arts related . There are also many cultural places to visit like prehistoric caves, castles, and medieval market towns.
